[NEohioPAL] SUMMER DIRECTOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE - AMHERST

The Sandstone Summer Theatre located in Amherst, OH is currently
advertising for several Director positions for the 2015 summer
performances.  Sandstone performs three full length plays for three age
groups.  All plays are performed in the Amherst Steele High School
cafetorium located on Washington St. in Amherst.

Positions available:

*SANDSTONE* - age group is from 15 years and up to all ages, rehearsals
begin June 8, 2015 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM with performances July 16 - 18,
2015.  The play is Carrie the Musical.

*Technical Director* - responsible to work with the Director and the
technical crew in designing and building sets and props.

*Music Director* - organize and rehearse with an appropriate size orchestra
for the play.  If  you have vocal experience the opportunity might exist to
also perform the functions of the Chorale Director.

*Chorale Director* - warm up the cast on vocals, and work with them
throughout the rehearsal period on the songs.

*Choreographer *- choreograph the play while working with the Director and
the cast.

*APPRENTICES AND SUNSHINE COMPANY*

APPRENTICES - age group 12 to 14 years old, rehearsals begin June 22, 2015
from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with performances July 24 - 25, 2015.  The play is
Seussical the Musical, Jr.

SUNSHINE COMPANY - age group 8 - 11 years old, rehearsals begin June 22,
2015 from 9:30 to 11:30 with performances July 24 - 25, 2015.  The play is
Blue Suede Paws.

*Technical Director* - responsible to work with the Director and the
technical crew in building simple sets and props.

*Chorale Director* - warm up the cast on vocals, and work with them
throughout the rehearsal period on the songs.  The CD that accompanies the
scripts will be used by the children to learn the songs.

*Costumer* - create costumes appropriate for the plays while working with
the Director.
