*THE PLAYERS GUILD IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE *

*AUDITIONS FOR JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL*

CANTON, OH - The Players Guild Theatre announces upcoming auditions for the
Downstage production of JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL. The JUNIE B. JONES
production team includes: Bart Herman, Director/Choreographer; Steve
Parsons, Music Director; and Joshua Erichsen, Producing Artistic Director

Based on the very popular JUNIE B. JONES book series, by Barbara Park, JUNIE
B. JONES is a delightful adaptation of four of Park's best-selling books
brought to life in a genuinely comical, and not strictly-for-kids musical
developed by TheatreworksUSA.

Its Junie B.'s first day of first grade and a lot of things have changed
for her: Junie's friend Lucille doesn't want to be her best pal anymore,
and on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school.
Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher Mr. Scary
thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball
tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal", and first grade has
never been more exciting.

Auditions will be held at the Players Guild Theatre located in the Cultural
Center for the Arts, 1001 Market Ave N., Canton, on Sunday, November 22 and
Monday, November 23 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM. The Players Guild is seeking 3
