The Illusion Factory is pleased to announce our 2018- 2019 Touring season!

November begins with a revival the Holiday Classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”(Available November 19, 2018- January 1, 2019) followed by our very own world premier version of the classic children’s tale “Aesop’s Animals" (Available January 14-June 15, 2019). 


Beginning in February, The Illusion Factory is honored to announce a new play for grades 6 and up.  Don’t miss “Sojourner Speaks”, a one women show and historical performance piece about the legend herself! (Available February 4-June 15th, 2019)

Aesop’s Animals

You've probably heard of the classic "The Tortoise and the Hare." Now Aesop's most famous pair are back to introduce you to some of their fabled friends! Meet a lion who needs some unexpected help from a mouse, a clever fox who tricks a vain crow out of a treat, and a hard-working ant who shares his surplus with a lazy grasshopper, just to name a few. With age-old lessons that are just as important to learn today, "Aesop’s Animals" will teach young hearts what it means to share, to ask for help, and to be a friend. (Available January 14-June 15, 2019 for Preschool - Grade 5)


 
Sojourner Speaks

Join us as we celebrate the woman who is a pillar of activism and who spoke right here in Akron, Ohio at the Women's Convention on May 29, 1851.
