storytelling, workshops & local shows you won't want to miss! See creators
from your backyard & a few yards over, make some fun. Created by Deena Nyer

STORYTELLING WITH DANA NORRIS

You have stories in you. Let's get them out! You'll learn about what makes
a good story and how to turn events from your life into a captivating
narrative. You'll leave this workshop with a solid start to a story of your
own, as well as a list of events where you can share your stories. Come
share your story!
The workshop will be from 6-8pm with a 20 person cap. Tickets are $20

wisdom she's gained through performing, teaching, and living. Susan is a
master in her craft and many have learned more from one conversation with
her than in an eight week improv class.

Susan Messing, a NJ native and graduate of Northwestern University’s
Theatre School, has been an improviser and comedian for over thirty years.
She is an alumna of the iO Theatre, Second City’s Mainstage, and a founding
member of Chicago’s infamous Annoyance Theatre. Susan created and has
taught her curriculum at iO and iO West, The Annoyance Theatre, The Second
City, and around the globe. Susan is an adjunct instructor for DePaul
University, The University of Chicago, and The School at Steppenwolf. Her
hit show Messing with a Friend has been running for over 10 years in

Messing With a Friend, featuring Susan Messing, has played at the Annoyance
Theatre in Chicago since 2006 and features a different invited improvisers
from I.O. to Second City to The Annoyance at each performance. The show has
been described as both “a collection of self-edited improvised scenes based
on a single suggestion” and “A joyful, uncensored, and improvised romp
through hell.” For this special performance, Susan’s friend will be Dana
Quercioli

Dana Quercioli is a twenty year veteran of sketch comedy and improvisation,
and she has loved every moment of it. She has been very fortunate to have
been a writer, actor and instructor at The Second City Chicago, The Second
City Cleveland, and all over the map with The Second City Touring Company.
In Chicago, Dana performs with the powerhouse ensembles of Virgin Daiquiri,
Glass Basement, Told, and BabyMakers. Most recently she has worked as a
freelance writer for O'Keefe, Reinhard & Paul Agency in Chicago, a guest
instructor at Harvard Business School, and has written several
