They say the show must go on. But in this rip-roaring, hilarious comedy about putting on a play, it seems at first that "Nothing On" will never make it to curtain call. Often called "the funniest farce ever written," this ensemble play is a cunningly constructed comedy classic. The crazed director still holds out hope that the show will be a great success, but he has a lot working against him. The male lead can't remember his lines, the female lead has barely read the play, sardines are flying everywhere, and there is too much drama backstage to save any for in front of the curtain. As the motley group takes the show on the road, things go from bad to worse, for the show as well as the personal lives of the cast and crew. But in the end, they just might pull it off. Watching this show slowly deteriorate is sure to keep you laughing the whole time.
