*AMERICAN SON*

*AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CULTURAL CENTER FOR THE ARTS!!*
*Located at 1001 Market Ave. N Canton, Ohio 44702*


SYNOPSIS: An estranged bi-racial couple must confront their feelings about
race and bias after their son is detained by the local police following a
traffic stop incident. Their disparate histories and backgrounds inform
their assumptions as they try to find out what happened to their son.


*"AMERICAN SON" is presented by special arrangement with Concord
Theatricals*


Directed by: Jared Sparks


Auditions will be held on Monday, January 3rd and Tuesday, January 4th

 from 7-9pm

Callbacks (if necessary) will take place later in the week, date TBD.


All auditioners are asked to come prepared to cold read from the script.


At this time, there are no stipends and/or AEA contracts being offered!


*VACCINATION INFO: *In order to be considered for casting, all auditioners
are required to provide proof of vaccination at their scheduled audition
time. All cast/crew are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in
order to work on this project.


Performances: February 10th at 7pm
