AUDITIONS FOR "UNNECESSARY FARCE"AT SPOTLIGHTS THEATER
The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater is excited to announce auditions for UNNECESSARY FARCE by Paul Slade Smith, directed by Chris Bizub. Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go! In a cheap motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there’s some confusion as to who’s in which room, who’s being videotaped, who’s taken the money, who’s hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.

Auditions will be Monday & Tuesday, July 11 & 12 – 7:00PM – 10:00PM at the theater (9543 Broadview Road, next to the police station. Callbacks (if needed) will be determined at a later date. Performances will take place September 2 – 17, 2022, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30PM and Sunday, September 11 at 3:00PM. Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
