This event is an "American Idol" style solo-singing competition where 10 students and 2 alternates perform center stage at Playhouse Square in a competition for college scholarships. Celebrity judges choose the top 4 singers. Then the audience along with the judges select the winner. The top 4 winners receive a total of $18,500 in college scholarships.
