The cast requirements are 6 women and 4 men. The breakdown: WOMEN Hilda - station master, 40s-50s Maggie - mail carrier, 20s-50s Penelope - editor, reporter for town newspaper, 30s-50s Myrna - town mayor/church choir director, 40s-60s Donna - Jerry's wife, 20'-30s Debora - Fairfax's daughter, 30s-50s MEN Satch - Hilda's assistant, 50s-60s Leo Tannenbaum - a visitor, 60s-70s Fairfax - railroad exec./Debora's father, 60s-70s Jerry - Donna' husband, 20s-30s Hilda, Satch, Maggie, Penelope & Myrna are required to sing A Cappella ALL AGES ARE FLEXIBLE This nostalgic story is full of eccentric small-town characters who begin to discover the true wonder of Christmas, making us all wish that we, too, could take a ride on The Christmas Express.
