The first half of the show will consist of a long-form improvisational structure known as an "Armando." The audience will suggest a topic that will inspire our monologist to tell a true personal story. The troupe members will then deconstruct that story, mining it for ideas to inspire scenes. The monologist will return with additional true stories throughout the piece. The second half of the show will consist of short-form improvised scenes, each of which will follow a different set of rules that will affect the players' behavior in some way; players may be forced to translate from gibberish or answer audience questions in character. Their singing abilities will be tested as well. Both the long-form structure and most the of the short-form games will be new to audiences who attended the debut performances. */The Addams Family <http://www.cvlt.org/86thSeason/addamsfamily.php?utm_source=monthlymail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=july2016>/* Music by ANDREW LIPPA Book by MARSHALL BRICKMAN & RICK ELICE Based on the characters created by Charles Addams *July 22 - August 25, 2016 Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM Sundays July 31, August 7 & 14 at 2:00 PM * *Tickets: * $20 ($4 off for seniors/students) *For information see www.cvlt.org/86thSeason/addamsfamily.php <http://www.cvlt.org/86thSeason/addamsfamily.php?utm_source=monthlymail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=july2016> or call 440-247-8955* Directed & Choreographed by PAMELA LAFORCE Musical Direction by ANDREW NOVAK STARRING: Paul Sloop, Jen Justice, Alex Marzullo-Petsche, Don Knepper, Mason Kacmar, Candace Russell, Michael Kecic, Enrique Caraballo, Nina Takacs, Steve Brofman, Elyse Mulvaney, Genevieve Vince, Emily Stack, Kimberly Sullivan, Leah Michele Davenport, Isaiah Blue, Stephen Bundy, and Glen Johnson Charles Addams' lovable oddballs find their way from 1930s comics, 1960s TV, and 1990s film, to the stage in this 2010 Broadway hit, featuring Tony-nominated music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.
