*FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEAugust 2, 2022 * *MTC to Hold Auditions for Into the Woods* *Youngstown, Ohio- *The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is holding auditions for *Into the Woods*, in collaboration with The Hopewell Theatre. Auditions will be held at The Hopewell Theatre (702 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44502) on August 13 from 12-3pm, August 15 from 6-9pm. Rehearsals are projected to begin on August 16. All performers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by the first day of rehearsals. Those who have received their two-dose vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) more than six months ago will be required to get a booster shot. Those who have received their one dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson) will be required to receive a second dose. Proof of vaccination will be required before the first rehearsal. *Into the Woods* performs September 30, October 1-2, 7-9 at The Hopewell Theatre with rehearsals running M-F from 6-9pm. Auditioners (ages 16+) should prepare a 30-60 second cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. There will also be a cold read from the script. All roles are open. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse.
