I am reaching out to you as it relates to Karamu House.  Karamu House, a national historic treasure and home of the oldest Black theater in America, is having it's third annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Saturday, June 28, 2008.  Karamu alums include Langston Hughes, Imani Hakim (Everybody Hates Chris), Debra Byrd (American Idol), Robert Guilluame (Benson) and Zora Neale Hurston just to name a few.  The event is being hosted by Karamu alums James Pickens Jr. (Grey's Anatomy) and comedienne Kym Whitley (Next Friday).  Your participation is needed and welcome.
