A born entertainer, her unique singing style blends jazz and traditional pop, making her a mainstay in concert halls, theaters and jazz clubs as well as in the recording studio, on television, and in film. She is best known for her Tony-nominated performance in the hit Broadway musical “Swing!” and for writing and singing the theme song to the hit TV series “The Nanny.” Callaway is a Platinum Award winning writer whose songs are featured on six of Barbra Streisand's recent CD's. Callaway's live performances showcase her warmth, spontaneous wit and passionate delivery of standards, jazz classics and originals. She is one of America's most gifted improvisers, taking words and phrases from her audiences and creating songs on the spot. Ann has been a special guest performer with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, with the Boston Pops and is featured at many Carnegie Hall performances. Callaway recently performed with her sister, Broadway star Liz Callaway, in their award-winning show “Sibling Revelry” at London's Donmar Warehouse. CPT is now Requesting Proposals for 16/17 Season

Dear Northeast Ohio artists, CPT is planning the 2016-2017 Season, and once again we are reaching out to you for great ideas. CPT is focused on new work that is surprising, unexpected and somehow outside the realm of conventional theatre. CPT is looking for proposals from Northeast Ohio artists for complete projects. Proposals may be for world premieres, second or third US productions, radical re-envisionings of classic plays or other projects. The show could be your own show or a script you would like to work on. Based on the success of past co-productions and our Big Box series, we are also interested in creating opportunities for artists and groups that would like to retain greater ownership of projects and who can share risk with CPT. Before sending a proposal: * Take time to look at CPT's recent seasons-these are excellent examples of our programming choices. Click Here for the Season Archive<http://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/>. * Get a sense of CPT's aesthetic and artistic sensibility-if you haven't seen a lot of shows at CPT, talk to people who have. * Keep in mind CPT's financial limitations. * If this is new/original project, think through its current state of development-is it still in early development or at the right moment for full production? CALLING ALL A CAPPELLA SINGERS: Audition this weekend for Harmonious in person or by video submission!

Have you been feeling a severe lack of *A Cappella* around the Cleveland area? Are you an ex-A Cappella singer and miss the feeling of sinking into that perfect blend? Are you someone who has always wanted to show off their shower-singing skills to the world? Or are you just an avid A Cappella enthusiast who wishes there was so much more A Cappella music to go around? Well we have the solution.. We are *Harmonious*, Cleveland's soon to be *newest **professional **A Cappe**lla* group! We are founded by Jacob Damsky and Michael Crowley, two A Cappella lovers who crave being in a group again, surrounded by amazing singers, and sharing their passion and music with everyone! We will be hosting auditions* this weekend *(December 19th-20th). Auditions will be open to anyone and we are looking to fill all voice parts as well as vocal percussion. Additionally, if you have any experience writing or arranging music for A Cappella, or directing past groups, those are a huge plus! Auditions will be 10-15 minutes and will be held at the *Blank Canvas Theater* (1305 W 78th St Suite 211, Cleveland, OH 44102) on December 19th (3:00-5:30 PM) and 20th (3:00-6:00 PM). For the audition please prepare* two 30* *second *songs segments with *contrasting styles* to sing without accompaniment. If you can't make the scheduled audition times, there is an alternative! Just send an *audition video* of yourself to harmoniousacappella(a)gmail.com! The video should include the two 30 second contrasting songs without accompaniment. If we want to hear more from you after the video, we will find another time that works to have an audition in-person. Please try to submit videos by the end of this weekend (December 20th)!
