Looking for a male actor on Thursday night 8 PM till possibly 1 AM, for a Short called "Behind", a horror piece. We are renting equipment and really want to run it to the ground to test it. We have the Ronin Stabalizer, plan is to make 1 solid take throughout the short. It is a non-union,paid job. Great to network and meet the local crew for Cleveland, and provide reel footage. REGISTER TODAY! CMA provides acting students with the opportunity to discover, nurture and explore their own uniqueness and merge that into the script to stand out on the set or on stage. The classes are centered around The Sanford Meisner Technique. Meisner training is an interdependent series of exercises that build upon one another. The more complex work supports a command of dramatic text. Meisner students work on a series of progressively complex exercises to develop an ability to improvise, to access an emotional life, and finally to bring the spontaneity of improvisation and the richness of personal response to text. This is what is commonly known as "method acting." Through the Meisner system, the actor becomes fearless and gains a strong confidence that can be applied to all areas of life. The four week class helps the young actor develop a love for the work, and with this, the ability to survive and work as an actor. Brecksville Little Theatre Seeks Directors for the 2017 Calendar Year

Brecksville Little Theatre is seeking directors for the 2017 calendar year. Directors would have access to the Brecksville Old Town Hall for rehearsals and production dates during the following timeslots: January 1 – February 15 April 1 – May 15 September 1 – October 15 If another venue is needed for auditions or additional rehearsal time in advance of the dates indicated, arrangements could be made for use of another facility. Interested directors should submit a resume with their preferred timeslot and a list of up to three shows they would like to direct to BLT at mail(a)brecksvillelittletheatre.org. Deadline for submissions is April 25, 2016. Musicals and mystery themed shows are encouraged. Original full-length plays can be included but the script must be available. Selected directors will be invited to meet with the BLT Board at its June meeting. Directors are paid a stipend for their services.
