The Dark Room is an ongoing event held on the second Tuesday of each month. The Dark Room affords emerging and veteran playwrights the space and resources to develop new works. The old saying: " If you don't breathe, you don't sing" can be understood at, say, a casual level, but there is a much deeper meaning to that, too. And it applies to speech mode as well. If you are still running out of air during certain phrases, come and see me. If you are beginning to run short of air because you are getting older or THINK that is why, come and see me. If you are still not able to get ALL of your breath during the "Catch" breath, come and see me. Most of us are holding our breath MOST of the time and think we aren't; that also reduces your range. You lose your high notes first, you know! Most of what limits us is due to what we don't know about breathing. Give me a chance to help you make improvements. Al and Willie, as "Lewis and Clark" were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years... now they aren't even speaking. When CBS requests them for a "History of Comedy" retrospective, the grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries, and laughs. Theater critic Clive Barnes, reviewing the original Broadway production wrote, "The Sunshine Boys is probably Mr. Simon's best play yet. Auditions for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe at Stow Players

Stow Players is pleased to present an all youth production of The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe Dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the story by C.S. Lewis. Directed by Justin Selden. We are seeking actors ages 8 to 17. All roles are available. Performance dates are December 6,7,13,14, 20, and 21 at 7:30pm and December 8,15, and 22 at 2:30pm. Auditions will be held Monday September 23 and Tuesday September 24 from 5 PM to 7:30PM at the Heritage Barn in Silver Springs Park. The address is 5238 Young Road, Stow. Attendance at one audition is all that is required, you do not need to attend both nights. Auditions are open call and will consist of a one minute memorized monologue of the actor's choice and reading from the script. Actor's should bring their resume, if they have one. We encourage all those interested to audition. If you need monologue suggestions, please email stowplayers(a)gmail.com and some will be provided to you for review. Rehearsals will begin September 30 through December 5 and generally run Monday through Thursday evenings. Not all cast members will rehearse each day. A copy of the rehearsal schedule will be available at the audition to declare conflicts. Attendance at all dress rehearsals December 1 through 5 is mandatory, as is attendance at all performances. Theatre Agápe presents an inclusive and adaptive production of Seussical the Musical! We believe theatre is for everyone, and we are doing our part to make it that way. Following the success of our inaugural mainstage musical *The Wizard of Oz*, Theatre Agápe will be producing *Seussical the Musical* as an inclusive and adaptive theatrical experience! The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.
