*The Dark Room at CPT on October 11th! * *This month: Featured Reading of Horatio by Greg Mandryk and Open Mic! * The Dark Room is a place where writers take center stage and their work has a chance to grow. The Dark Room is an ongoing event held on the second Tuesday of each month. The Dark Room affords emerging and veteran playwrights the space and resources to develop new works. It offers a venue to workshop plays, novels, poems, or any other written work in a supportive, yet critical environment. *Tuesday, October 11th* The Church at CPT (Just east of the Gordon Square Theatre Box Office) Cleveland Public Theatre 6407 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 *7:00pm: *Sign-up begins for writers and actors (space is limited). Male actor needed Thursday for short film

Looking for a male actor on Thursday night 8 PM till possibly 1 AM, for a Short called "Behind", a horror piece. We are renting equipment and really want to run it to the ground to test it. We have the Ronin Stabalizer, plan is to make 1 solid take throughout the short. It is a non-union,paid job. Great to network and meet the local crew for Cleveland, and provide reel footage. ALTO for Choir needed - PAID

Mary Queen of Peace, a Catholic church in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood, has an opening for a temporary ALTO chorister to sing in the semi-professional Parish Choir of Mary Queen of Peace and the all professional Schola Cantorum of Mary Queen of Peace. The church is located at 4423 Pearl Road, Cleveland, OH. Must have excellent sight reading ability, as well as ability to blend. Must be able to learn music outside of rehearsal and be prepared to rehearse music knowing part. The committment for the choir is one Thursday evening rehearsal from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, and a Sunday morning mass at 11:00 am with a call time of 9:45 to rehearse and warm up. Must be available for CHRISTMAS midnight mass. The choir and schola's repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant to Renaissance polyphony to modern choral music, with polyphony and other early music forming the backbone of the repertoire. The choir and schola's reputation have earned them invitations to sing at other venues outside of Mary Queen of Peace, including Rosary Cathedral in Toledo. Last year, the schola took part in a celebration of Catholicism of the East and West, sponsored by Notre Dame College. Compensation is commensurate with experience and education.
