Looking for a male actor on Thursday night 8 PM till possibly 1 AM, for a Short called "Behind", a horror piece. We are renting equipment and really want to run it to the ground to test it. We have the Ronin Stabalizer, plan is to make 1 solid take throughout the short. It is a non-union,paid job. Great to network and meet the local crew for Cleveland, and provide reel footage. REGISTER TODAY! CMA provides acting students with the opportunity to discover, nurture and explore their own uniqueness and merge that into the script to stand out on the set or on stage. The classes are centered around The Sanford Meisner Technique. Meisner training is an interdependent series of exercises that build upon one another. The more complex work supports a command of dramatic text. Meisner students work on a series of progressively complex exercises to develop an ability to improvise, to access an emotional life, and finally to bring the spontaneity of improvisation and the richness of personal response to text. This is what is commonly known as "method acting." Through the Meisner system, the actor becomes fearless and gains a strong confidence that can be applied to all areas of life. The four week class helps the young actor develop a love for the work, and with this, the ability to survive and work as an actor. I am available for work in property preservation, groundskeeping and leasing (plus turning over apartments) in Property Management. I have years of leasing experience, plus know how to supervise turning apartments (have my own freelance renovations staff) and maintaining properties through preservation. I can offer 50 hours a week as a groundskeeper and leasing agent (which can include turning apartments and monitoring property, as well as property preservation for homes). In exchange I am asking free rent on the grounds or near the grounds. I could be on site for unlimited hours and on call at your convenience. Bert The narrator of the story, is a good friend to Mary Poppins. An everyman, Bert has many occupations, including hurdy-gurdy player, sidewalk artist and chimney sweep. He has charm, speaks with a Cockney accent and is a song-and-dance man. George Banks The father to Jane and Michael Banks, who is a banker to the very fiber of his being. Demanding "precision and order" in his household, he is a pipe-and-slippers man who doesn't have much to do with his children and believes that he had the perfect upbringing by his nanny, the cruel Miss Andrew. His emotional armor, however, conceals a sensitive soul. A baritone. Mrs.Winifred Banks George's wife and Jane and Michael's mother. A former actress, she is loving and distracted homemaker who is busy trying to live up to her husband's desire to only associate with "the best people" as well as be the model wife and mother. She suffers from the conflicting feelings that she's not up to the job of "being Mrs. Banks," yet, she is, and more. She has great warmth and simplicity to her tone. Jane The high-spirited daughter of Mr. and Mr. Banks, is bright and precocious but can be willful and inclined to snobbishness. Michael The cute and cheeky son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks. Excitable and naughty, he adores his father and tries to be like him. Both he and Jane misbehave in order to get the attention of their parents. Bird Woman Covered in a patchwork of old shawls, and her pockets are stuffed with bags of crumbs for the birds. She tries to sell her crumbs for the birds. She tries to sell her crumbs to passersby, who ignore her as if she doesn't exist. Miss Andrew George's overbearing and scary nanny. With her bottle of nasty-tasting brimstone and treacle to keep naughty children in line, she is a bully who only knows one way of doing things - her way. Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road,Westlake, will present Tom Dudzick’s heartfelt and hilarious family comedy Miracle on South Division Street as the fourthproduction of its 88th season. Meetthe Nowak family, a lovable clan of dysfunctional Polish-American adults on theEast Side of post-industrial Buffalo. The family matriarch, Clara, ferventlyprotects the family’s twenty-foot high shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary, a statue crafted by her father, who claimed to have had a vision of Maryin his barbershop in 1942. But now, a deathbed confession begins to test thefamily’s faith in miracles. Miracle on South Divsion Street is directed by Rob Gibb.
