Olde Towne Hall Theatre 36119 Center Ridge Rd. P.O. Box 39284 North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039 is announcing its 2015-2016 season and all of its upcoming events! For more information, you may call the box office at 440-327-2909. *Musical Review Auditions* We will be holding our annual Fundraising Musical Review on August. 14th and 15th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be $10 for everyone. Call the Box Office for Reservations at 440-327-2909.Musical director will be Kim Mihalik and Choreographer will be Heidi Frees. Auditions will be Monday August 27 from7-9 p.m. This year our theme is Disney on Broadway! Please bring music or recording to audition with (does not have to be the one you will do in the show) so we can determine your vocal range. Please bring any scheduling conflict and contact information, as well. *Open Auditions* Auditions for the adult theater's fall production of, "Wait Until Dark," will be on August 23rd from 2-4 pm and on August 24th from 7-9 p.m. The show will run on October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24th at 7:30 pm and on October 18 at 3:00 pm for a matinee. The show will be directed by John Schneider and those coming for auditions should be prepared to read from the script with others to select the best cast. They also should be able to provide scheduling conflicts, contact information and be able to provide a brief history of their theatrical background. *2015-2016 Season Passes* In order to catch all of the excitement of our 36th year of live theater productions, consider buying a season pass from now until September 30, 2015 . Buy our *Elite Season Pass* at $25 and see our three full production shows: Wait Until Dark Moon Over Buffalo Fiddler on the Roof Buy out *Red Carpet Season Pass* at $35 and see all of the season’s shows! *Same as the *Elite *pass, plus our Youth Theatre Productions Shrek The Musical! James and the Giant Peach, Jr. *Buy the House* Your organization may buy out the house on any Thursday night as a money-making night at the theater! We have 181 seats that you can sell for whatever price you wish. We will even provide refreshments for whatever refreshments you would like to serve after the show. Whatever your organization, we can schedule a night for you! Remember, these group nights are limited to Thursday nights, so pick your show and schedule early! *Underwrite our Season * The Board of Directors has also opened up the opportunity for organizations or individuals to underwrite a show for our theater! We are looking for new sponsors so we can continue to offer great selections and maintain the only FREE summer youth theater program in Lorain County! You choose the show you want to underwrite. For a straight production (*Moon Over Buffalo* or *Wait Until Dark*), by donating $1000 towards production costs, you receive 10 complimentary tickets and headline advertising. For a musical production (*James and the Giant Peach, Jr*., *Shrek the Musical* or *Fiddler on the Roof*), by donating $2000 towards production costs, you receive 16 complimentary tickets and headline advertising. The greatest part of this, besides being tax deductible, is that *every penny* goes directly to paying the fees associated with producing these amazing shows! If you are a Midview Band Alumni, we welcome you to join our group and practice and perform with us this fall! We will be having practices and performing at Midview High Schooll, 38199 Capel Rd. in Grafton, Ohio 44044. Laura Alonso, daughter of world famous ballerina Alicia Alonso and renowned teacher and coach, Fernando Alonso, is herself known as a teacher, coach and an expert at staging the well-known classics. For seven years she served as the personal coach and teacher for international prima ballerina assoluta, Alicia Alonso.�Dance Theatre of Harlem artistic director, former prima ballerina and former editor of Pointe�magazine, Virginia Johnson, calls her an, “international master teacher extraordinaire.” Ms. Alonso was honored with an award as the best coach at the Jackson International Ballet Competition in 1990. Her student, Jose Manuel Carreno, won the Grand Prix de Ville, the highest award possible.
