On Saturday, September 10, 2016 CPT will present its annual fundraising extravaganza and "Party of the Year" - Pandemonium '16: The Fire Within. Featuring dozens of area theatre, dance, visual and performance artists and with fabulous food and drink, Pandemonium '16 is a benefit like no other and an opportunity for you to be a featured artist. The Pandemonium production team is seeking proposals from extraordinary theatre, music, performance poetry, dance, visual and multimedia artists. Pandemonium '16 is a benefit event and all proceeds go to support Cleveland Public Theatre's mission on stage and in the community: creating and presenting challenging and inspiring performance work, ensuring that emerging artists and small performance companies have opportunities to participate in the arts, and sustain CPT's work with urban youth and adults in transition. CPT SEEKS EXTRAORDINARY VOLUNTEERS FOR ROAD TO HOPE ON JUNE 17TH! We are currently seeking awesome and extraordinary volunteers for ROAD TO HOPE at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER<http://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/2015-2016/road-to-hope-metroh…> on Friday, June 17th. The event takes place from 5:30pm-8:00pm and will feature live music, food, short theatre performances by Northeast Ohio artists, plus interactive community art installations and chalk artists. ROAD TO HOPE is one of a series of free, neighborhood-based community arts events produced by Cleveland Public Theatre and community partners from January - June 2016, in celebration of hope and honoring current day struggles for freedom and justice. It's going to be an awesome, joyous, heart-felt, visual-arts filled event and volunteers are an important part of making this event work! Road to Hope will take place at the MetroHealth Medical Center, Outpatient Plaza, 2500 MetroHealth Dr., Cleveland, OH 44109 (Enter via W. 25th or Scranton Rd). We will have two shifts available on June 17 for volunteers who would like to take part. One is from 4:30-7:00pm. Another one is from 6:30-9:00pm. We are seeking 2 types of volunteers: * Haiku volunteers to work with Caley Vickerman (HAIKU MISTRESS) o This is not the typical volunteer experience. Beck Center Dance Education seeks Ballet Instructor Beck Center for the Arts seeks an experienced and talented individual to instruct ballet classes to diverse students. The instructor will be educating youth and teen students at the advanced, intermediate and beginner levels. Classes will take place on Saturdays September 2016-May 2017. Previous experience working with youth preferred. A BA or BFA in dance, or the equivalent professional experience is required. All instructors must pass a background check before interacting with students. Instructors also must support Beck Center's mission, vision, and values. Instructors are paid a competitive hourly wage, and are entitled to two complementary tickets to Beck Center's professional theater performances. Beck Center is an equal opportunity employer.
