Join Us On December, 3rd For Our Next General Meeting The next meeting of the Songwriter Summit (nee: Summit County Songwriter Circle) will be held on December 3rd at 2 Girls Cafe & Bakery, 3707 Darrow Road in Stow, OH. Our general meeting begins at 7 PM and is usually over by 9 o’clock. Meetings feature presentations of new songs or works in progress offered by members and non-members alike. You do not need to be a member to present a song and you do not need to be a writer to attend the meeting. Members discuss the songs, offer gentle critique and comment as requested by the performer. Songwriter Summit exists to connect songwriters throughout the area and has members that often travel from Pennsylvania and West Virginia to attend. Our musical tastes cover a wide variety of genres and styles and all are welcome. If you play a keyboard or other instrument that requires amplification you are responsible for your own gear. Check us out. “I have a dream, a song to sing....” If you’ve ever dreamed of being a part of a production of ABBA’s “Mamma Mia,” NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! Auditions for the REGIONAL COMMUNITY THEATER PREMIER are fast approaching! Auditions will be held at Olde Towne Hall Theatre, Sunday and Monday, Dec 16 and 17 at 7PM. Callbacks will be held Thursday, Dec 20. Director Kim Mihalik, choreographer Heidi Freas and music director Marci Saxon will be looking for a diverse cast of actors, singers and dancers to bring this magical show to life. Book & Lyrics by Anthony Drewe Music by George Stiles Presented by The Yarnell Youth Theatre Company Directed by David Malinowski Music Direction by Jonathan Gordon Choreography by Sarah Gordon Casting Information: Cast of approximately 25-35 Open to ages 8-18 (must be 8 years old by the first rehearsal) All roles available. No AEA contracts available. Audition Dates: Monday, November 26, 2018 beginning at 6:30 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018 beginning at 6:30 pm Callbacks, Wednesday, November 29, 2018 - by invitation only Rehearsals begin - Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, December 11, 12 & 13, 2018 Rehearsals will GENERALLY be Sundays 1:00-5:00 pm, Mondays thru Thursdays 6:30-10:00 pm.
