Baldwin Wallace Community Arts School is looking for experienced, qualified dance instructors to add to their growing dance department. The ideal candidate is qualified to instruct multiple dance genres, has professional experience, teaching experience, and dance education credits and/or certifications. The Baldwin Wallace Community Arts School Dance Department trains dancers to have solid technical foundations, a passion for the arts, positive self-expression and the confidence to become the success they are meant to be. Our professional approach ensures each student receives comprehensive dance training in an environment that supports personal achievement, discipline, friendship, teamwork, positive attitudes, creativity, kindness and respect. Curriculum is designed to train all ages, skill and confidence levels to achieve their greatest potential whether their goals are professional or personal growth. Programming includes classes in the areas of ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, acro, and hip hop for ages 2-21, beginner through pre-professional levels. Rubber City Theatre is accepting submissions for the available track below in Romeo and Juliet. We are casting local non-union actors. You may be asked to submit a video audition. AVAILABLE TRACK: Peter/Balthazar/Servant/Citizen: M or F, any ethnicity, 20s-30s Submissions: We will be accepting headshots and resumes through 3/14/19. Please email them to casting(a)rubbercitytheatre.com. Non-AEA contracts: Adult Non-AEA Contracts will pay $90 stipend, depending on the track for the production. Rehearsals: Please note rehearsals are typically Monday through Thursday from 6:30-10:00pm, and Sundays from 4:00-9:00pm. The final week of rehearsal will end of Wednesday and tech will begin on Saturday 2:00-6:00pm followed by a Sunday from 4:00-9:00pm. At the beginning of the week leading into opening, we will have Monday off. Performances are typically Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm, and Sunday at 2:30pm. There will be one student matinee on 4/18/19 at 10:00am. We will only allow a couple conflicts during the rehearsal process, no conflicts during tech and show run. Avenue Arts Marketplace & Theatre announces auditions for CHARLOTTE'S WEB Located at 324 Cleveland Ave. NW Canton, Ohio 44702 SYNOPSIS: All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will give your actors a great opportunity and your audience an evening of enchantment. Spring auditions are here and are you prepared? Dr. Christopher Hutton, Baritone, is taking new voice students and excited to get you physically and mentally prepared for auditions and performances. Dr. Hutton has a Masters Degree and Doctorate of Music Arts degrees in Vocal Pedagogy (Science of Singing) from Arizona State University, and is fluent in teaching both belting/music theatre technique and classical technique. Christopher attended Youngstown State University where he received his Bachelors in Voice Performance. He has also performed opera at regional opera houses for over thirteen years. Dr. Hutton offers free consultations to those interested before committing to the voice studio. There, he clashes with the head nurse, Ratched, a fierce disciplinarian. He quickly takes over the yard & leads others out of introversion, stages a revolt so that they can see the World Series on TV & arranges a rollicking midnight party with liquor & women.
