We are casting a wide array of roles for females and males and these are open to public and private high schools and age appropriate home schooled students. Auditions are by appointment only. The Movement Project Pre-Professional Summer Intensive Audition in North Ridgeville The Movement Project will be hosting an audition at JAM Dance Academy in North Ridgeville March 10th for dancers aged 12-18 to take part in this year’s summer intensive July 29th-August 3rd. This one week intensive is geared for serious-minded dancers interested in furthering themselves as creative artists and who wish to deepen and grow their technical and performance knowledge. This intensive provides a rigorous daily schedule in professional training, creative practice and rehearsals taught by TMP artistic directors, company members, as well as notable guest artists in the dance community. The program will focus on modern dance technique, contemporary, ballet, improvisation, composition, injury prevention and somatic practices. In addition to movement courses, the program includes courses designed to prepare young artists for a career in dance such as, resume building, dance on film and marketing. As part of our marketing course, each artist will receive dance action shots for their portfolio. AUDITION CALL FOR LOCAL CLEVELAND DANCERS ON MARCH 15TH The Movement Project is hosting an open audition with Pam Tanowitz. Pam will be auditioning dancers for her upcoming project Recital #1 (five small dances for Cleveland). The Show will occupy historic Pilgrim Congregational Church March 22nd at 7pm and 9pm, and will be influenced by the unique space and individual dancers. Dancers from New York City-based Pam Tanowitz Dance will perform alongside performers from Cleveland’s The Movement Project and those local dancers selected from the audition. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Advanced dancers, with performance experience. Must commit to all the rehearsal times. The work will be all set the week leading up the the performance, as a site specific project. Open to dancers age 18+ There will be a Performance Stipend from Pam Tanowitz Dance & 5 Class Card from The Movement Project as compensation. Beer tasters needed

We're piloting a youtube show called 'Cleveland Beer Snobs'. We're currently looking for talent to appear on it. For our next filming segments we need a few to film tasting 20 different beers and capturing their reaction and opinion. We're looking for a diverse group of people who meet the following criteria: Need to be over 21 Live in the Greater Cleveland area Have some interest/knowledge in beer Some comedic / ad-libbing ability We're just starting this up, so we're only offering a $25 stipend and covering Uber/Lyft transportation if you don't have a friend to drive you. So its not much, but you get to try 20 beers :) If you're interested, please send a photo or a link to video you're in to talent(a)clevelandbeersnobs.com, and just let us know about your general interest in beer. The current dates we're looking at filming next are March 13th and March 14th at 6pm. It should take about 2-3 hours.

Nerds Unite at the Lakewood Masonic Temple Swing Dance on Friday, March 8th! Come and celebrate 3.14 with us and help raise money for a good cause, The Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs!! This is our annual pi dance where we celebrate our geeky nerdiness openly! Wanna dress like a Tardis? That's cool! Want to dress like a band geek? That's awesome too! The cost of the dance is $12 per person. Cash only. Pay at the door. Be sure to arrive in time to take part in the easy jitterbug lesson from 8 pm to 9 pm with the swing dance geeks from Get Hep Swing! Immediately after the lesson (at 9 PM) Hepcat Revival (THAT's US!) will kick off an awesome night of music and swing dancing until 12 am. Be sure to pay attention to the songs that Hepcat plays. They have some special songs that fit our nerdy theme perfectly! When was the last time you danced to a jazzy version of the "Spiderman" theme song? Or to a swing song about plate tectonics? (a real gem!). Be sure to wear your geekiest, nerdiest attire as we will be having a costume contest! The costume contest will take place during the first band break around 10 pm.
