Join us for a 3-day workshop during which we will go over the ins and outs
of the audition process and help you create a ready-to-use audition package.
What is included: Day 1 (11/11 7-10 p.m.), we will work on building your
resume and finding monologues. Day 2 (11/12 2-5 p.m.), we will find 2 songs
for your audition book and learn a dance call. We will be giving tips and
tricks to pick up a dance quickly. Day 3 (11/13 2-5 p.m.), we will hold a
mock audition and get a headshot taken by internationally acclaimed
photographer Janet Macoska.
Cost: $40.00, which includes two tickets to our upcoming performance of
Avenue Q ($40 value) and a headshot by Janet (priceless.)

The Department of Dance at Case Western Reserve University opens the
2022-2023 season with Spectrum, featuring Brink by contemporary NY-based
choreographer Janice Rosario and the return of the popularly acclaimed Les
Noces by Pascal Rioult. Artistic Director Gary Galbraith with collaborators
Mike Martens, CWRU Professor of Physics, and Jared Bendis, Creative New
Media Officer for CWRU's Freedman Center, presents a new technology-infused
multi-media and multi-channel sound dance work *In Another Place And Time*
using new state-of-the art technology, supported in part by his Expanding
Horizons Initiative Grant (EHI). Rounding out the program will be the
return of Karen Potter's poignant Ubi Sunt.
Spectrum will be performed November 11, 12 and 17-19 at 7:30pm and November
13 at 2:30pm at Mather Dance Center, 11040 Bellflower Road, on the Case
Western Reserve campus in University Circle.
Tickets are $10 for students, $12 for seniors age 60+ and CWRU personnel,
and $15 for general admission. Reservations are open, and may be made by

Come aboard and help Santa make his rounds this Christmas! Be a part of creating an enchanting and festive atmosphere as we transport families and children to the wonder of the North Pole! You will help children write letters to Santa, serve hot cocoa, sing songs and much more! Opportunities available include Program Leaders and Assistants, Santas and North Pole Elves.
November 11 - December 21. Volunteers report at 3:45 pm until 7:50 pm; or 5:45 pm until 9:15 pm. Training provided.
