CPT Is Hiring a Graphic Designer & Content Coordinator | Cleveland Public Theatre (cptonline.org)<https://www.cptonline.org/uncategorized/cpt-is-hiring-a-graphic-designer-co…> GRAPHIC DESIGNER & CONTENT COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION The Graphic Designer & Content Coordinator will join a flexible team and job responsibilities will be catered to skills of the successful applicant. Candidates should have at least two to three years of experience. The GDCC reports to the Director of Audience Engagement & Marketing and works with the Audience Engagement & Digital Strategy Manager towards the goals of building audience and expanding the reach of CPT artistic and education programming regionally and nationwide; as well as promoting its internal companies Teatro Público de Cleveland and Masrah Cleveland Al-Arabi. CPT is less interested in "ticket sales" than in gathering together the many communities of the Cleveland region. This position is a year-round, salaried staff position. The GDCC is responsible for supporting CPT audience engagement and marketing activities and initiatives across a range of media types. Departmental work includes content creation, graphic design and layout, digital media, video creation, and some copywriting. All positions at CPT work across departmental lines, and the GDCC is involved in many aspects of the theatre. CPT is seeking a highly creative storyteller with outstanding design, editing, copywriting, videography, and communication skills. The position requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, a passion for the arts and the mission of CPT, and a desire to grow and learn new skills. Ryun Louie Trio Closes Out Jazz under the Stars Summer Festival on 8/27

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO closes out its summer Jazz under the Stars concert series with Medina-based percussionist Ryun Louie and his ensemble on August 27, 2022, at 7 pm. Back by popular demand, the ensemble will feature a variety of jazz standards, with an emphasis on percussion. At 6:30 pm, Bucket Group Medina, directed by Louie, will present a short program. In conjunction with ORMACO and the Medina County Police Activities League, the program will feature students from the Medina High School Marching Percussion Line and younger students from Medina and Cloverleaf school districts. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy this free concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at The United Church of Christ, 217 East Liberty Street, Medina, OH 44256. Join us for our Fall Theatre Academy 2022! Through our classes here at Weathervane Playhouse, we encourage students to think outside of the box and use their imaginations to explore, create, learn, and grow. Our classes allow students to gain an understanding and appreciation for the art of theatre while they develop into artists and build confidence that can be translated from the stage to their everyday lives. It is also our goal to provide each and every student with a positive experience that they can cherish for years to come. The fall session will be 10 weeks long starting Saturday, September 17th through November 19th. Classes will end with a final presentation on November 19th for students to showcase what they learned! Classes offered are for ages 5-17 including acting, musical theatre, improv, directing, and tech classes. The Kent Trumbull Theatre is holding auditions for their production of "The Impracticality of Modern Day Mastodons" by Rachel Teagle. Auditions August 31 & September 1, 6pm-8pm. Show Dates October 21-23, 28-30. Open to the public, ages 15 and above suggested. Suddenly all childhood dreams have come true, and the world is full of astronauts, ballerinas, cowboys, and princesses. It's a brave and glorious new world for everyone but Jess, who wanted to be a mastodon when she grew up. With the help of her friendly vocational adviser and her super-spy boyfriend, Jess embarks on a journey to find her place in the world, and discover why it seems to be unraveling. An offbeat comedy about ambition, vocation, and restlessness. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. All students and community members are welcome to try out. CASTING BREAKDOWN Jess (she/her) - A recent Mastodon. Any Age, Any race/ethnicity, Female/Nonbinary gender. Buster- Part of a very sick child who made a wish. Any age, Any race/ethnicity, Any gender.
