Call for Ghost Walk Guides/Storytellers The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater is seeking a couple of actors andactresses (age 14 and older) to act as guides and storytellers for its 5th Annual Local Lore Ghost Walk on October 21-23, 2022. The Ghost Walk is an immersive, historicaloutdoor theater event on the Broadview Heights city campus. It isheld rain or shine. The guides portray "characters" of their choosing (i.e., a gypsy fortune teller, Victorian widow, creepy butler, etc.) and lead small groups around the campus, introducing the "ghosts" along the way. In addition, they share scripted stories of local ghost sightings. Rehearsals are held once per weekfor 4 weeks, if necessary. All roles are volunteer. Note that the Broadview Heights Spotlights requires all volunteers, actors, andproduction staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to auditions inorder to be involved in any production.

CASTING CALL for upcoming CSU Student Thesis Film: The Bicycle Man. *Logline*: After crossing paths with a terminally-ill mad scientist who's supposedly discovered the key to body switching, a suicidal call center agent must choose whether or not to shorten his life. *Genre*: Dark Comedy / Sci-Fi *Projected Running Time*: 25 minutes *Currently Casting*: *Duncan *(LEAD): mid-20s, Male Depressed call center agent amidst an existential crisis. He doesn't talk to his family except his grandfather. Against "the system". *Dr. Oliver *(LEAD): 50s-60s, Male, White True definition of a mad scientist and dying of lung cancer. Wickedly smart and subtly manipulative. Duncan and Dr. Oliver are principal roles. The topics of abuse and drug use, which are not in the wheelhouse of musicals, sometimes turn people off, as does the phy-sci-centered plot. The GLT production is as good as you are going to get.
