Stow Players is holding auditions for Dear Jack Dear Louise by Ken Ludwig on Sunday December 7 at 7PM to 10PM and Monday December 9 from 7PM to 10PM. We are looking for 1 M and 1 F in their 20s and 30s to file these two roles. Sign up for an audition time slot using the Sign Up Genius link at www.stowplayers.net. This show is directed by Brandi Eaton. Performance dates are February 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 7:30PM and February 15 and 22 at 2:30PM. Auditions will take place in the Cirigliano Studio Theatre in Stocker Arts Center (on the campus of Lorain County Community College), Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. No a cappella auditions. A prepared/memorized monologue for those wishing to be considered for Mortimer and Henry. Gender: male Age: 40 to 60 Vocal range top: F#4 Vocal range bottom: A2 *The Actor (Henry)* An aging, over-the-top Thespian who specializes in reciting Shakespeare, he is a commedia clown; his world is the stage and he knows no other reality. Gender: any Age: 50 to 70 *The Man Who Dies (Mortimer)* Henry's goofy sidekick and another former actor who specializes in stage deaths. A commedia clown, his world is the stage and he does not live in reality. Gender: any Age: 30 to 50 *The Mute* A speechless presence who watches, acts as the wall, and deals with props; the "invisible" stage assistant. Should be able to easily assist in the story or fade into the background unnoticed. Gender: any Age: 20 to 50 Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, December 16 at 6:30pm.
