Each thinks the other has perished. All alone, Viola finds work by disguising herself as a man going by the name Cesario and serving in the court of Duke Orsino. The Duke wants to marry the Countess Olivia and sends Viola as Cesario to woo her for him. Of course, the Countess falls for Cesario instead! Meanwhile, Olivia’s cousin and the staff are celebrating the twelfth night of Christmas and getting into a duel with Sebastian, who is mistaken for Cesario when he arrives. It seems no one knows who anyone is in this favorite Shakespeare comedy! *Group Auditions (*Pick 1 of 2)*: Wednesday June 2 OR Thursday June 3 (5pm-6pm only) **Students should review the audition materials given and familiarize themselves with all the scenes. Join Cleveland Dance Project for a summer festival celebration presenting dance events, local business vendors, raffles, food trucks, photo ops, and live performances leading up to the premiere of our Season 7 Showcase in outdoor movie style! Festival will start at 6pm this Saturday June 5, in the Shoppes at Parma (behind the old JC Penney's parking lot at 7775 West Ridgewood Dr). Join us when you can but seating will be first come first serve for the show at 9pm. Bring your own lawn chair for seating throughout the lot. Ample parking is available adjacent to the screen viewing area and around the Shoppes at Parma. Our Season 7 Showcase includes 160 adult dancers performing 22 short works by local choreographers in styles including Bollywood, jazz, hip hop, afro beats, steps, modern, contemporary, heels, swing, tap, and more! POSITION: TECHNICAL DIRECTOR (part-time) Summary of Position: The Technical Director will be responsible for the timely development and implementation of set, lighting, and sound design for the various activities of CVLT. The technical director works closely with the Director of each production or special event and with the Production Board which also monitors the work. The Technical Director is responsible for other work of the Theatre involving technical activity as well as safety, health, and storage requirements for equipment. The Technical Director works closely and cooperatively with all CVLT employees and volunteers. Reports to: CVLT President and the Production and Technical Board This is a part-time position to be filled as soon as possible. Avenue Arts proudly announces auditions for... THE CRUCIBLE!! AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT AVENUE ARTS! Located at 207 6th St NW Canton, Ohio 44702 SYNOPSIS: The story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife, and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife’s arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie—and it is here that the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted. The farmer, instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned with a host of others. "THE CRUCIBLE" is presented by special arrangement with Dramatist Play Services, Inc. Directed by: Joe Soriano Stage Manager: Michael Porter Auditions will be held on Monday, June 7th and Tuesday, June 8th from 7-9pm Callbacks (if necessary) will take place later in the week, date TBD.
