PART-TIME PRE-BALLET DANCE INSTRUCTOR Thrive Arts Center in Beachwood, Ohio Thrive Arts Center is seeking a dance instructor for young pre-ballet students. If you love seeing a child’s eyes light up through dance, working collaboratively, and are open to a flexible learning environment for your students, we want to meet you! Dance Instructor Role We are looking for a delightful and committed Dance Instructor who is passionate about their studio work with children and their families, student-focused in their pedagogy, organized, reliable, an outstanding communicator, and a dedicated team player. In this role, you will be a key part of Thrive’s “Leap ’N Learn” pre-ballet Dance offering, and you will support Thrive’s vision by contributing collaboratively to our dance schedule, with warm and flexible dance classes facilitated by our licensed Leap ‘N Learn dance curriculum, and by keeping family connections warm. Important Details * Start Date: Training June/July 2019; Teaching August 2019 * Hours Per Week: 5-15 hours per week (with potential to expand). * Location: 23600 Commerce Park, Beachwood, Ohio. * Rate: $25/hour - $40/hour, based on experience and class size. * Training: We will train you in our licensed pre-ballet and ballet curriculum. Voice Lessons for Summer-Fall Auditions!

Summer auditions and soon to be Fall auditions are here! Will you be prepared? Dr. Christopher Hutton, baritone, is taking new voice students and excited to get you physically and mentally prepared for auditions and performances. Dr. Hutton has a Masters Degree and Doctorate of Music Arts degrees in Vocal Pedagogy (Science of Singing) from Arizona State University, and is fluent in teaching both belting/music theatre technique and classical technique. Christopher attended Youngstown State University where he received his Bachelors in Voice Performance. He has also performed opera at regional opera houses for over thirteen years. Auditions for Neil Simon's "Rumors"

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater will hold auditions for Neil Simon’s comedic farce, Rumors, on Sunday, June 30 and Monday, July 1 from 7:00 – 9:00PM. The theater is located at 9543 Broadview Road (next to the Police Station), Broadview Heights, OH 44147. This farce takes place in a large New York City townhouse where the Deputy Mayor has just shot himself on the evening of his tenth wedding anniversary party. The victim’s wife is nowhere in sight, and his lawyer tries to convince his own wife to get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. Confusions and miscommunications mount as the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity. The show will be directed by Dan Sekanic and will run August 23 – September 7. Rehearsals will begin in mid-July. Auditioners are asked to bring a list of conflicts from July 7 to September 7. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. White, soprano, and Katie Fowler, mezzo-soprano, telling the story of their lives as mothers and classical vocalists.
