David Manocchio, a multi - award winning film director, is shooting a Proof of Concept for the feature film "*Revolver*". We are searching for an African - American actor to play the co - lead role of Harvard Sanders (HARVARD - Age: 28 - 45. Smart , articulate, man with a plan). We are also looking for 2 Caucasian men for the roles of BRUCE and TOBY (Age: 22-40), 2 Latino men for the roles of GANG MEMBERS (Age: 22-40), as well as a Caucasian OR Latina female for the role of TRACY (22-35). "Revolver" can be likened to a modern day "Butch & Sundance" in which you have two very likeable guys who happen to be on the wrong side of the law and their plan to pursue their legit dreams before it's too late. It's a hip neo - noir crime drama. It's a one day shoot with the target filming day on Sunday, September 7. The pay is $200. This cannot help but be excellent exposure for any actor looking to build up their resume and demo reel. David taught Film Acting and Film Directing at the Cleveland Playhouse for 8 years in their adult Education Dept. His films have played at the Cleveland Intn. FF and the Cleveland Cinematheque as well as on PBS. He has won major awards at Film Festivals around the world and received a proclamation from the Mayor for "bringing filmmaking excellence to Cleveland." Twin Masks Performing Arts Center is excited to be presenting the final weekend of performances of the play You Better Sit Down: tales from my parents’ divorce by Anne Kauffman, Caitlin Miller, Robbie Collier Sublett, Mathew Maher, Jennifer R. Morris, and Janice Paran. Four of the authors (Miller, Sublett, Maher, and Morris) interviewed their parents about their relationships. The play is based on those interviews. The play is a charming, heartbreaking, and hilarious account of each relationship, looking at how they met, got married, and eventually divorced, and the events in between. “In YOU BETTER SIT DOWN the truth about these four defunct marriages is laid bare with simplicity and honesty” – The New Your Times “Relentlessly entertaining” – The New Yorker “Wryly entertaining…absorbingly candid.” – The Village Voice What the critics say about this play: In the original production, the four children presented their parents’ stories, portraying the parents. Our actors will be doing the same. Natalya Duncan plays Caitlin Miller and her mother Mary Anne; Conner Sutton plays Robbie Collier Sublett and his mother Janet; Lisa Georges plays Jennifer Morris and her mother Beverly; and Samuel Roter plays Matthew Morris and his parents John and Frinde. Silver Lining Players is looking for one older male to complete our cast for "The Night I Died at the Palace Theatre" by Pat Cook. Clague Playhouse is in search of a 20-30 year old male actor to play Giles in our opening show, Agatha Christie's *The Mousetrap*, directed by Ron Newell. *The Story: *After a local woman is murdered, the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear that the killer is among them, and the seven strangers grow increasingly suspicious of one another. A police detective, arriving on skis, interrogates the suspects: the newlyweds running the house; a spinster with a curious background; an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef; a retired Army major; a strange little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift; and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. When a second murder takes place, tensions and fears escalate. This record-breaking murder mystery features a brilliant surprise finish from Dame Agatha Christie, the foremost mystery writer of her time. *The Character: *GILES RALSTON – The more cautious proprietor of Monkswell Manor. Get ready for an unforgettable evening as Young Filmmakers Academy proudly presents the red carpet premiere of "Star Wars: Rise of the Younglings," an exciting fan film crafted by a remarkable group of students aged 12-17. The event will take place on August 21 at 6 PM at the **Sari Feldman Auditorium in Parma, and it is open to the public. "Star Wars: Rise of the Younglings" tells the gripping story of a fallen Padawan who succumbs to the dark side, seeking revenge against their master for being cast out of the Jedi Order. This powerful narrative promises to captivate audiences with its themes of redemption, betrayal, and the struggle between light and darkness. The evening will not only feature the premiere of this thrilling fan film but will also showcase additional works from our talented young filmmakers, including "Beyond the Page," produced by students aged 8-11 from our Beginners Film Camp, along with two projects from our after-school program. Please print and bring with you. *The story:* In this delightful companion play to Miss Bennet, Gunderson and Melcon once again bring Austen’s beloved characters to the stage for a yuletide sequel to Pride and Prejudice. While Miss Bennet depicted the newly wed Darcys’ Christmas gathering on the ground floor of Pemberley, The Wickhams takes audiences to the downstairs servants’ quarters for that same celebration. Mrs. Reynolds, a no-nonsense housekeeper; Cassie, an eager new maid; and Brian, a lovesick footman, are bustling with preparations for holiday guests. But their work is interrupted by the midnight arrival of the definitely not-invited Mr. Wickham—Lydia’s rogue of a husband and Mr. Darcy’s sworn enemy. The Wickhams is a charming holiday tale that explores the confines of class and the generosity of forgiveness. *Characters:* MRS. REYNOLDS: (50s to 70s) The housekeeper at Pemberley. She knows all and sees all and has been on staff since Darcy was a child. A mother figure to the household. CASSIE: (20s) The new housemaid. A village girl, an orphan who came from less than nothing. She takes her job very seriously but is sometimes maybe too eager and a bit headstrong. LYDIA WICKHAM: (20s) Elizabeth’s sister, married to George. Flirtatious, youthful, and self-centered, but with a bright, warm, and charming personality, if sometimes a bit much. She eloped with Wickham at 15 and is now somewhat trapped in the marriage. BRIAN: (20s) A footman. In love with technology and inventions. Sincere and earnest, perhaps a bit arrogant. GEORGE WICKHAM: (30s) Married to Lydia. Grew up at Pemberley, son of the former steward. Once a soldier, he has been in and out of trouble (of his own making) his whole life.
