Federal Public Defenders in Cleveland (https://ohn.fd.org/) seeks volunteer actors to assist with training our lawyers and staff. The Federal Public Defenders represent people charged with federal criminal offenses who cannot afford attorneys. The attorneys in the office are training to improve their skills, and are seeking volunteers to act as both mock trial witnesses, mock clients, and mock jurors in various exercises. Jazz under the Stars: Chris Hovan Organic Trio Saturday, August 2, 2025 – 7:00 pm Uptown Park, Medina, OH Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its summer Jazz under the Stars concert series with Organic Trio on August 2, 2025 at 7 pm. Come 30 minutes earlier (6:30 p.m.) to listen to students showcase what they learned at the summer bucket drumming classes, in conjunction with the Medina County Police Activities League. The ensemble is led by Medina-based percussionist Ryun Louie. Tapping into the current Hammond organ revival, Chris Hovan’s Organic Trio revisits the classic organ combo genre with a renewed sense of purpose that puts swing and soulful energy at a premium. Covering both modern repertoire and iconic standards from the jazz lexicon, the trio features Michigan natives Cliff Metcalf on organ and Chandler Carpenter on guitar. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy this free concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 317 E. Liberty Street, Medina, OH 44256. Busy man, “quick and methodical”, likely equates everything to it’s relevance to the law. Emma Carew The daughter of Chairman Danvers and Jekyll's beloved fiancée who is refined and desired by all of the socialite men. Gender: female - Age: 20 to 25 Vocal range top: C6 - Vocal range bottom: A3 Lucy Harris The gorgeous 'main attraction' at a local gentleman's club. At the bottom of her luck, she becomes the object of Hyde's obsession. Lucy is feisty and wild, but also cautious and aware. Auditions will be held at the Youngstown Playhouse (600 Playhouse Lane) on Friday, August 1st from 6pm-9pm and Saturday, August 2nd, from 12pm-3pm. Cleveland Dance Project's choreographer applications are open until TOMORROW JULY 26 at 11:59pm for our Season 16 Showcase! Choreographers are given the opportunity to *create and showcase a short work (under 4 minutes) in any style of dance on our adult dancers* - casting is done at auditions on Sunday August 24 and can be cast with dancers from the beginner to the professional. Choreographers are paid a small stipend, given professional photos & videos, reimbursed for costume expenses (up to $15/dancer), and get free studio space for their rehearsals (and discounted studio space for other use).
