Synopsis:The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Story Time with Belle:Come and listen to a story told by your favorite princess, Belle, with the help from some of her friends. There will be a special copy of the Little Golden Book of the original “Beauty and the Beast” story signed by the entire cast given out to all the children along with a treat. The event will cost $10 per child (accompanying parents are at no additional charge but they must make a reservation). Reservations are in addition to the price of the show ticket. Tea Time with Mrs. Potts:Come and dine in our French provincial town and meet the characters from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. They will be coming around to the tables to visit and you will be able to get their autograph in a special coloring/autograph book designed just for this occasion. This will be a special “reservation only” lunch that will include a light meal (sandwiches, fruit and cookies) and all the tea you would like. Mrs. Potts will be sharing a few thoughts with the children as well as a story where the enchanted objects solve a mystery along with the help of the audience. The parent meal does not include the autograph/coloring book and other extra items for the children. Reservations are in addition to the price of the show ticket.

> This summer is a summer of growth and new opportunities for Western Reserve Playhouse, and as a part of that Brandi Eaton is producing a showcase of six of her original ten minute plays, each featuring a different director's vision and cast. > > In order to secure the best talent available, we are holding open auditions for the show. Nurture Your Passion Saturday, August 12� (Cleveland, OH) –Cleveland City Dance will hold its annual August Open House on Saturday, August 12 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Tour the studio, try one of our current classes for FREE and purchase your class leotards for the academic year! A Capezio Pop-up shop will be at the studio to make purchasing new dance attire more convenient. � Take a FREE ballet class Ages 3-4 Preschool Ballet; 10:15 am -11:00 am Ages 5-6 Pre-ballet; 9:30 am -10:15 am Ages 8 -11 Ballet I; 10:30 am-11:30 am Intermediate Advance: 11:00 am -12:30 pm Registration is required. � There will also be a FREE performance at 1:30 pm by some of our summer camp students. Cleveland Method Acting Accepting Students For August Program

Cleveland Method Acting (CMA), led by Emmy nominated TV and Film Director Eric Swinderman, is now accepting students for the upcoming 4 week program. The classes are centered around The Sanford Meisner Technique, also known as THE METHOD. Through the Meisner system, the actor becomes fearless and gains a strong confidence that can be applied to all areas of life. The four week class helps the young actor develop a love for the work, and with this, the ability to survive and work as an actor. Using a series of sensory memory exercises the actor will work on a single piece of work for 4 weeks learning how to look at the work from different angles and explore how the method can help the work evolve into a living breathing scene.
