With OSF educator Sarah Coon, Students will explore how to create a character and react to their environment, while learning theatre basics such a stage directions and common phrases. Join local professional Jason Leupold to hone the tools you can use to audition and perform with clarity and commitment! Jason is offering instruction and coaching in a variety of areas including: Acting, Voice, Audition Technique, and Beginner Guitar (with specific focus on playing and singing simultaneously). An Opportunity for Beginner Actors - Student Film Audition!

Audition for Student Film and Video Projects – SPRING 2017 When: Friday, March 24, from 9:15am to 1:15pm Where: Tri-C Campus in Parma, Ohio (11000 W Pleasant Valley Rd, park in "visitor"; walk to middle-building/galleria; look for room G107, next to campus police); If lost - call 440-783-2405 <(440)%20783-2405>. Cuyahoga Community College's beginner level film and video students are creating several short projects (experimental videos, music videos, commercials, short docs, and super short narrative films), and need local talent. This is an "Intro to Filmmaking" class, taught by Prof. Bruno Tatalovic. Several students who completed this course in previous years – are now established local film artists, videographers, and indie film producers. This type of collaboration is perfect for beginner level actors who need more footage for their first demo-reel. Each of these projects feature 1-2 actors only, and gives you a lot of screen time and dialogue or monologue lines. These are unpaid (volunteer / collaborate) productions. Get your first credit, your acting demo, and establish new relationships with like-minded content creators. Also, if you have NO screen acting experience, but you truly BELIEVE that you have what it takes - COME and try out! These projects are 1 day (half a day) productions, sometimes in April (based on actors' availability). It's a “walk-in” audition (cold read or short personal monologue - if desired). If you wish to attend this audition, just click GOING, come, and bring the following: -- 8x10 headshot or any decent picture of yourself; -- acting resume (even if it’s very minimal); -- if you don’t have a resume, make sure to have personal contact info (or business card); HEADSHOT PHOTO SPECIAL OFFER: Beachwood based Discovery Photo studio (operated by photographer Scott T. ACTORS-WRITERS: If you are screenwriter-actor, or if you have an amazing location that student can use - feel free to pitch your own idea or short script, BUT it must follow our educational rules and guidelines.
