In '*Audition Technique*," "*Business for Actors*," and "*Marketing Yourself*," you'll learn everything there is to know about the real world of auditioning, including headshots/resumes, finding an agent/manager, what to wear in an audition, how to market yourself in the audition room, self-tape auditions, how to impress the casting director, and so much more. On the final day, students will audition for a panel of artistic directors from major regional theatres and receive personalized feedback. *ABOUT THE ARTISTS* *JAMIBETH MARGOLIS: *Jamibeth is now entering her 15th year as a professional casting director in New York. She was with Johnson-Liff Casting, Cameron Mackintosh, and Margolis-Seay Casting and is now out on her own as a freelance casting director. Previous credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of *Les Misérables*, *The Phantom of the Opera*, *Miss Saigon*, and *Cats *as well as many others. Currently, Jamibeth is casting for many new plays and musicals in development for commercial productions including WARSAW and OPA!. Jamibeth is a professor at Pace University and the director of casting for Cleveland Musical Theatre. *CHRIS SILVERI:* Chris is the VP of Talent Management at Prestige Mangement Group. Barnum, with original music by Pasek and Paul. She can also be heard in the ensemble on the Original Broadway Cast recording of Dear Evan Hansen. Last summer, she played Candy in the U.S. premiere of the new version of Saturday Night Fever at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. In August 2013, she completed a 2 1/2 year run swinging the national tour of Les Miserables. Back In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the 2nd national tour of Wicked. Natalie was an American Idol season 4 semi-finalist, has performed the National Anthem at Cowboys & Shea Stadium, has toured internationally teaching & doing solo concerts, but is most well known for her Youtube videos. She has gained an international following from her performance videos & popular web series, "Breaking Down The Riffs", which have collectively reached over 3 million views. Beck Center Teen Theater presents High School Horror with CARRIE Cult classic musical comes to Mackey Theater March 24-April 2 Lakewood, OH-Beck Center Teen Theater continues their 2016-2017 season with CARRIE the musical, March 24-26 and March 31-April 2, 2017 in the Mackey Theater. CARRIE the musical contains strong language and adult content. Carrie White is a misfit. At school, she is an outcast who is bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. Based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King, this production features music by Michael Gore, lyrics by Dean Pitchford, and book by Lawrence D. Cohen. With a cast of 21 Beck Center students ages 12 to 19, this notorious musical is directed by Associate Director of Youth Theater Education Jonathan Kronenberger.
