Tomorrow (*Sunday*) at *3:00pm*, the Italian Film Festival <http://bit.ly/1SqT2Mm> will be screening the wonderful movie *Io, Arlecchino* <http://bit.ly/1Q9fl7M> (*I, Harlequin*) on the campus of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. The movie is co-hosted by the CWRU Film Society <http://films.cwru.edu/> (see their website for directions and parking <http://bit.ly/1qP5cbV> information) and is *free and open to the public*. The movie tells the story of keeping the traditions of *Commedia dell'Arte* alive in modern day Italy. As such, *The Confused Greenies of Players' Patchwork Theatre Company* <https://www.facebook.com/TheConfusedGreenies/> have been asked to give a presentation on commedia and its foolish patchwork hero Arlecchino. And as part of our presentation, we'll be performing a traditional scene in this semi-improvisational art featuring Arlecchino as well as other masked characters! We're pleased to announce that we will be holding one final round of auditions Saturday, April 23rd from 10am to noon. Please email glmfcast(a)gmail.com to schedule an audition. Walk-ins are welcome, but please keep in mind that you will be seen after any scheduled auditions. We ask that all those auditioning come prepared with a 1 to 3 minute monologue best fitting your acting style, and a theater resume and headshot if available. Please dress comfortably, and keep in mind that we may ask you to participate in light improvisational exercises, or display any talents such as singing or playing an instrument. Our theme this year is *Excalibur*, telling the origins of the famous sword and how* King Arthur* rose to power. At this time, we are no longer looking to fill principal roles, or fighters for our in house combat chess match. Incoming actors will be filling our village with diverse and lively characters, as well as outfitting a small pirate crew. This is a great summer program to brush up on your improv or acting chops, as well as a wonderful opportunity to gain some new skills and a lifetime of memories. Rehearsals will begin May 7th at 10AM, and will be every Saturday and Sunday through July 3rd. Performance dates are as follows: July 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31, August 6, 7, 13, 14 (Every Saturday and Sunday from July 9th through August 14th) This is a volunteer project. No AEA contracts are offered.
