MaDaCol Spring Dance Concert: CWRU Department of Dance, Cleveland, OHApril 14-16, 2016 The concert will feature new dance works by graduate students Tingting Zhou and Richard Oaxaca and alumna Amanda Clark (GRS ‘15, dance). Senior dance majors Karlie Budge and Emily Shelton will also present their Capstone works as a part of the program. More than fifty dancers from a diverse range of performance backgrounds will perform in the production. This event features staged readings of works from the company’s Play Lab program, which teams playwrights, dramaturgs, and directors for three months of in-depth development. The show will have a preview performance on Thursday April 14 at 8 p.m. The opening night show is scheduled for Friday, April 15, 2016. A dessert reception with the director and cast follows the performance on opening night. The show runs until May 1. *The Play* *Talley’s Folly**, *set in Lebanon, Missouri, deals with the courtship of the young Sally Tally and her Jewish suitor, Matt Friedman. This is a warm, rich, love story to savor and cheer. Charles Isherwood of the NY Times says *Talley’s Folly* is "A valentine to two lost souls finding each other." *The Cast* *Keith Stevens* joins us for this show as Matt. Keith has appeared at Actors’ Summit in over 35 productions and most recently,* “*Same Time Next Year.” *Keith *holds an MFA from the Actors’ Studio in New York, where he is a life time member. Keith recently appeared as Bif in “The Price” at Ensemble Theatre of Cleveland. *Shani Ferry* appears as Sally Talley. Shani is a long time company member at Actors’ Summit. She appeared this past fall in Quilters. Shani has also appeared in A Grand Night for Singing, Making God Laugh, Romantic Fools and Last Train to Nibroc, among many others. *The Director* *Kevin P.
