Closing out the 2015-16 World Tour of Music Concert Series is Americana Band, *Hey Mavis*. Laurie Michelle Caner (vocals, banjo, song writing) tells the story of life- with all it’s beauty, heartache, disappointment and joy- weaving a musical tapestry that speaks the truth of love, life and the human condition. Eddie Caner (violin, viola profunda) spent a dozen years performing as a sideman in national touring bands and orchestras including Page & Plant, Luciano Pavarotti, Smokey Robinson and Natlie Cole. With his Hendrix-like tone and precision, Eddie soars beautifully over Laurie’s vocals. Bryan Thomas (bass) has toured as bassist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and is currently Bass Professor at Kent State University. Auditions for the 2016 season of the Great Lakes Medieval Faire will be held April 9th and 10th from 10am-5pm at The Great Lakes Medieval Faire, 3033 State Rt. 534, Rock Creek OH,44084 Our theme this year is *Excalibur*, encompassing the legends of *King Arthur*. All lead roles are currently available, along with all supporting cast roles to make up the wide and diverse village of Avaloch. Rehearsals will begin May 7th at 10am, and will run Saturdays and Sundays through July 3rd. Show days are as follows: July 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31, August 6, 7, 13, 14 (Every Saturday and Sunday from July 9th through August 14th) Please email glmfcast(a)gmail.com or call (440) 867-1045 to schedule an audition. Walk-in's are welcomed, though we recommend scheduling your audition, as time is limited, and any walk-ins will be first come first serve, and seen AFTER any scheduled auditions in the time frame in which you arrive. Please bring with you a monologue of your choice that best displays your acting style, as well as any special talents such as juggling, singing, dancing, or any instruments you may play. A current theater resume and headshot is recommended though not required. Be prepared to participate in a light improvisational exercise as part of your auditions. Modeling Camp Dates!!!

Dream Team Models and Award Winning Master Fashion and Beauty Photographer Barb Stitzer present our second year of Modeling Camp in Ohio!!! While feeling beautiful in front of the camera isn't rocket science, there are definitely problems that a pretty girl runs into that their friends don't understand. Learning how to look great without making others around you feel bad about themselves or jealous helps one's self esteem, poise, and general feeling of well being. Young women who have attended the Dream Team Models camp feel more confident, accept less bullying, and learn to feel great about themselves in a nurturing, caring environment of like minded individuals. They also have some very beautiful pictures taken of them, whether they think they are photogenic or not. My modeling camp graduates have appeared in magazine layouts that I have shot for Nicky Nicole, the Grey Colt, American Commodore, Olympia Sports, Studio Wish, Shop Local, and many more, and in many local, regional and National campaigns through their agencies. Last year, we helped 14 girls get placed with local and national modeling agencies as well. So come for the fun, the camaraderie, the 3-5 opportunities in front of the camera each day, learn how to look great in selfies, and maybe a little more. Moms are more than welcome to stay and watch the entire camp if you would like. :) Each day, we have an age appropriate topic to discuss, about modeling, and about life, and then we dive in to different aspects of modeling for the camera. As a former model for 10 years in California, New York and Milan, it is very important to me that these young ladies know the rights and wrongs about how they should be treated in every situation.
