EXTRAS NEEDED: Who: KING - 2015 Movie, filmed all in Cleveland OH Where: MLK High School - 1651 E 71st St, Cleveland, OH 44103 When: June 27th, 2015 at 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM What: Extras of all ages needed for filming a graduation scene. We need extras as the friends, family, extend family, teachers, and anyone else you could envision attending a graduation ceremony. This is the climax of the story, where our main character delivers his graduation speech, finally taking a stand against gang violence. Please feel free to dress however YOU would if you were attending any other graduation. This graduation scene is NOT a black tie event, people will come dressed in everything from a jacket and tie to t-shirt and shorts. And the director WANTS that kind of eclectic mix. BRING ANYONE! WE ARE HOPING FOR 300 EXTRAS!All non-paid/non-union. But all will get movie credit! HIGH SCHOOL AGE EXTRAS: If you wish to be in the graduating class of 2018, GUYS, please come in shirt and tie, GIRLS in a nice graduation-like dress. Details: IF you plan on being an extra, please plan on arriving NO LATER THAN 12:30 PM to fill out paperwork etc. We will begin filming around 1:30, please expect directions when you arrive on set. The Lake Shore Railway Association is sponsoring a murder mystery dinner theater this fall. Come and audition for this very special opportunity... Wealthy Pip Chattaway has fallen in love with the penniless Daisy, much to the dismay of his parents who are convinced that she is a gold digger. Add in a feisty maid of honor, a devious best man and a scheming former girlfriend and this marriage is, "On Track for Murder." To audition, please bring yourself... and a friend! Cold readings will be done of the existing script. No monologues needed...All adult roles and will consider any age. Be prepared to stay for entire audition so that you can read with various people. Performance dates: September 11th & 12th 2015 at 7:30 pm. The Midview Band Alumni will be performing this year at the 2nd Annual Parade of Bands at Midview High School 38199 West Capel Rd. Grafton, Ohio 44044. The Parade of Bands is on Saturday, September 19, 2015. Come out and join the fun and march on the new astro-turf! We will also be performing in our third Homecoming Game on Friday, October 2, 2015. Songs for both performances include: Star Spangled Banner, Alma Mater, Midview Fight Song, The Time Wharp and a few others. Swing dance at the Slovenian Workmen's Home Saturday, June 27th

Everyone is welcome to attend. We don't care if you don't now how to dance or don't ever want to learn. The bands are always good, so stop by and have a listen. If you do want to learn to dance we have lessons. If you need a partner, no worries. We have plenty of people who attend the group lessons and we rotate partners during those lessons. That makes the lessons extra fun! Be sure to arrive in time to take part in the easy jitterbug lesson from 8pm to 9pm with Valerie Salstrom. We always review the basic Jitterbug step, talk about the basics of leading and following, and then show a few new moves. Each lesson is unique and you will always pick up new moves and hints each time you attend a pre-dance lesson at a Get Hep Swing event. These lessons are appropriate for brand new dancers all the way up to advanced dancers. You will not be disappointed! Immediately after the lesson (at 9 PM) The Dan Zola Orchestra will kick off an awesome night of music and swing dancing until 12am. http://www.zolabigband.com/ Only $12 per person. We also have a security guard who keeps an eye on the hall and both parking lots.
