Growing Community Arts Center is looking for a Music Director for their early summer performance of *The 25* *the Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee* . This a stipend position. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Monday and Thursday evenings from 6- 8 pm. Rehearsal and performances will be held at 22 East Main St, Norwalk, Ohio. Music Director must possess strong piano skills, vocal teaching skills and conducting abilities. Canidate must feel comfortable working with teen and adult musicians/actors. *Auditions are being held March 28 & 29 from 5-7 pm.* *The performance is scheduled for June 10-11-12, 2022* NAC Teen Theatre is open to students in grades 9 through 13, during the time of the performance. This show is rated as PG-13 due to language and adult themes. NAC Teen Theatre is a safe and inclusive group striving to support the mission of Norwalk Arts Center. It is definitely not CHORUS LINE, or MY FAIR LADY or WEST SIDE STORY, but this production, even with the obvious story line and mediocre score, is worth a sit-through. Post-apocalyptic wilderness was never funnier. Dog Actfollow the adventures of Zetta Stone, a traveling performer, and her companionDog (a young man undergoing a voluntary species demotion) as they wanderthrough the former northeastern United States. Zetta, Dog and their littletroupe are on their way to a gig in China, assuming they can find it...andsurvive the journey. A theatrical, darkly comic variation on the classicdoomsday genre, with five original songs. “A fresh, word-drunkcomedy by Liz Duffy Adams.
