This genre combines dance movements from various popular cultures in Africa and the Diaspora. The class will begin with warm-ups and movement exploration. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy’s vocational counselor, who plots to have Kris shanghaied to Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing. The story of believing in magic and the power of the Christmas spirit also sweeps up the store’s manager of personnel, her skeptical young daughter, and a lawyer they befriend.

Independence Primary School is seeking an experienced children's theater director for our upcoming production of Disney's *The Jungle Book Kids.* The stipend for this production is $2,500-$3,000. Auditions take place the 2nd week of January, and rehearsals run 3x/ week from 3:30-5:00pm - Rehearsal days have not been decided, so there is a bit of flexibility in scheduling the particular days of the week that you would like to hold rehearsal.
