HYT is committed to non-traditional casting. Actors will be cast solely on the basis of talent, except in cases where age, race or physical ability is essential to a role. *WHAT TO PREPARE:* *Grades 6-12* 1. On selection in the style of the show up to a minute in length (ie- one verse and one chorus). 2. Accompanist provided (no acapella singing) Bring complete sheet music. 3. Come prepared to move. *Grades 3-5* 1. You're a kind of reminder we need. You have humility, nobility and a sense of honor that is very rare indeed (take top notes) You're a good man, Charlie Brown. And we know you will go very far. Yes it's hard to believe, almost fright'ning to conceive, what a good man you are. *Grades 1-2* 1. Happiness is learning to whistle, tying your shoe for the very first time. Happiness is playin' the drum in your own school band. And happiness is walking hand in hand. 1. 2015/16 Inclusive Dance Schedule (Saturday Only) Class Description 11:00 am-12:00 pm---Contemporary Ballet. Contemporary ballet is a genre of dance that incorporates elements of classical ballet and modern dance. It employs classical ballet technique, but allows greater range of movement of the upper body and is not constrained to the rigorously defined body lines and forms found in traditional, classical ballet. Students will work on posture, balance, strength, agility, and fluidity in this class. 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm---Performance Ensemble. A class for students who are interested in performance opportunities throughout Cleveland. To participate in the Performance Ensemble, students are expected to attend at least one technique class and must be in attendance at every rehearsal unless prior notice is given. This group has showcased their talents at the Tolerance Fair, Baldwin Wallace half time shows, Autism 4D, and on stage alongside the Dancing Wheels Professional Company. (All Ages) 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm -----Jazz Funk, also called Street Jazz, borrows a lot of movement from other dance styles. From ballet, modern and hip-hop to lyrical, jazz funk incorporates little bits and pieces of other dance genres and wraps it into a funky style that is both fun and expressive! Students will take movements and combine them with current pop culture music. Northwest High School in Canal Fulton is looking for a set designer/construction lead for our 2015-2016 season. Our show dates are February 26, 27 & 28. Duties would include: collaborating with directors on show concept, designing the set, constructing some props, purchasing and transporting materials, directing the set construction, collaborating with the set paint crew lead and supervising the strike. A parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the sisters’ school if they will perform in a club in Las Vegas, Mother Superior (Pat Stein) is hesitant to accept. However, convinced by the other sisters (Becky Linder, Emmalea Linder, Kristina Rivera and Debra Rose) that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” Reverend Mother agrees. What follows is the most feather-filled, sequin-studded, fan dancing Nunsense show ever! I am available for work in groundskeeping and leasing (plus turning over apartments and houses) in Property Management. I have years of leasing experience, plus know how to supervise turning apartments (have my own freelance renovations staff). I can offer 50 hours a week as a groundskeeper and leasing agent (which can include turning apartments and monitoring property, as well as property preservation for homes). In exchange I am asking free rent on the grounds or near the grounds. I could be on site for unlimited hours and on call at your convenience. I'm open to any arrangement, and can be available 80 hours a week (or 24/7) on a barter-partial salary split.
