ISO "princess" costumes to borrow for a fundraiser

Hello all, I am president of Quota Club International of Lorain and we are holding a "Princess Tea Party" on October 11. I am looking to borrow a few princess costumes for the day if anyone is willing to let us use them. I am a costumer, so I take garment care very seriously. I will take care of any laundering if necessary, and make sure all pieces are properly taken care of, and returned promptly. Costumes I'm looking for are Disney princesses: Jasmine size 3/4, or small Cinderella and/or Elsa size 10/12, or large Pocahontas size 5/6 or medium Ariel (blue peasant dress) size 8 or medium Anna size 5/6 or medium I'm in the Lorain area and I am willing to pick up or meet somewhere. Applicants should be high school graduates or older with previous choral experience. The audition will consist of singing a prepared solo in any language, vocalizing and sight singing. Cleveland Public Theatre announces Auditions for The Loush Sisters Love Dick’ns: Great Expectations Created by Liz Conway, Michael Seevers, Jr. & Beth Wood Directed by Beth Wood Looking to cast… 2 – 3 funny women (over the age of 18) who can sing/carry a tune, move/shake your maracas, and don’t take themselves too seriously, to join the dysfunctional Loush Sisters. Specific characters will be created based on the actors cast. About the play… Fueled by booze, fairies, and “holiday cheer,” The Sisters are visited by ghosts of Christmases past, present and future that remind them how to make the Yuletide gay…er. Holly and Jolly Loush (aka The Loush Sisters) return to the stage for a bawdy, boozy holiday cabaret. Fueled by song, sidekicks and a hefty dose of “holiday cheer,” the Loush Sisters reinterpret A Christmas Carol as you’ve never, ever seen it before. About The Loush Sisters… Originally created in 2003 for a Cleveland Public Theatre special event, The Loush Sisters have become a favorite of CPT audiences, performing in 2011 at Playhouse Square’s 14th Street Theatre and in 2013 at CPT with The Loush Sisters DO the Nutcracker to critical acclaim. The brain children of Liz Conway, Michael Seevers, Jr. and Beth Wood, The Sisters are an unapologetically raunchy, lounge-singing duo. (Imagine Saturday Night Live’s Sweeney Sisters (1980’s) but raunchier & more inappropriate.) About the process… There may be a workshop period to develop material from September 16th – October 21st. There may be 1 – 2 rehearsals a week during this period for some cast members. Full rehearsals will begin October 26th with 5 – 6 rehearsals a week. Performances are December 5th – 22nd; Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays in CPT’s Gordon Square Theatre. *What Happened to The Golden Rule?* *Kulture Kids’ Original Children’s Theater Performance Shows Manners Matter* Children and their families are invited to journey with a zany (and not so polite) archaeologist in search of The Lost Temple of Ma’at, the Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, and civility. Ancient Egypt comes to life in a spectacle of magic, comedy, music, dance, and hieroglyphics that urges us all to remember our manners. This is a show you don’t want kids to miss! Kulture Kids’ newest original children’s theater production, *Ma’at is Missing: Deciphering Manners* addresses the seeming lack of civility, manners, and kindness in society today. The audience is tasked with helping a nutty professor discover and unravel clues to the Lost Temple of Ma’at and decipher the ancient hieroglyphics within that illustrate how we should treat one another. From simple etiquette when coughing or sneezing, to how we consider others’ thoughts and feelings before we speak, Ma’at is Missing guides children on an expedition to find out why our manners matter. Ma’at is Missing: Deciphering Manners will take the stage on August 21 at 7:00pm, August 22 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm, and August 23 at 7:00pm. A hands-on family art workshop is included in the ticket price and will take place 30 minutes before the start of each performance. A reception will follow the opening night performance. *The Movement Project 2015-2016 Season* *Call for Musicians: **Application Due September 1st* The Movement Project is a professional modern dance company whose mission is to challenge perspectives, evoke social change and to bridge communities through the power of movement. For our 2015-2016 season, TMP is creating a new work exploring the physical and emotional state of musicians during performance. We are looking to hire 3 musicians to compose, collaborate and perform with 3 TMP choreographers. Together, the choreographer and artist will create a piece with original composition and a choreographic work that explores the complexities in the musical score, as well as the physical embodiment of musicians in performance. The final product will include 3 dance solos accompanied onstage by a musician. Length of each solo will be between 5-6 minutes long. Meaning each musician must compose a work between 5-6 minutes in length. The performance will take place May 20th and 21st, 2015 at the Lakewood Masonic Temple and a “work in progress preview” on February 27th (location TBD).
