*The Nordonia High School Drama Club will present Almost, Maine by John Cariani as this year’s fall play production.* On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Directed by Nordonia’s Director of Drama, Chris Simmons, *Almost, Maine* is a break from the murder mysteries of the past several years and will offer a different but delightful theatrical option at Nordonia this October. Performances for *Almost, Maine* are: Friday and Saturday, October 28th and 29th, at 7:00 PM and Sunday, October 30th, at 3:00 PM, in the high school auditorium. Olde Towne Hall Theatre brings a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre to North Ridgeville Olde Towne Hall Theatre of North Ridgeville, Ohio presents an interactive murder mystery dinner theatre fundraiser!. A play by Eileen Moushey, directed by Lisa Carter The event will be held at Bullfrogs Sports Café located at 33137 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.Tickets include a buffet style dinner, non-alcoholic beverage and dessert, a live play performance with interactive audience participation (you solve the mystery), prizes for mystery resolution and a contest for best black and white costume. All attendees are encouraged to wear black and white as they solve the mystery of who killed Ann White. Tickets are $36 each and are pre-sale only. Call 440-865-8700 for reservations and tickets. Please remember that only people and productions of *Non-professional Theatres, *defined as a college, university, other educational theatre or a community theatres are acceptable. Please do not nominate plays or performers from any theatre which has an agreement with Equity, whose productions normally include one or more Equity members, and/or who pay all or some their actors in a performance or supply their actors with a stipend. Therefore, nominees from such production houses as Beck Center, Blank Canvas, Cleveland Playhouse and Great Lakes Theater will not be accepted. (No matter if you agree with these guidelines or not, BWW has set up these parameters and they will be followed.) Dancing Wheels is calling all artists!!

Dancing Wheels is hosting a fundraising opportunity during our Snowmanproduction, and we need your help! We are in search of talented, generous artists (perhaps you? A family member? A neighbor?) to make us an ornament! Details: -Create a unique ornament inspired by The Snowman -Any medium encouraged (wood, glass, metal, etc.) -Put a fair market value on the ornament -The ornament will be displayed in the lobby of theatre for purchase by patrons attending the performances -Proceeds will be used for Dancing Wheels' educational and outreach programming to provide children in the community with inclusive classes In exchange for your generous artistic donation, Dancing Wheels will provide you with two free tickets to the show, a business sized ad in the program, and a tax deductible letter. Mercury Theatre Company is accepting video audition submissions for its upcoming holiday production of MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. Great roles available for actors, singers and dancers, ages 6 and up. Rehearsals will be weekday evenings between 5 pm - 9 pm, and select Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons in December based on cast availability. MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS has two public performances: December 17 at 7:30 pm and December 18 at 2:00 pm in Regina Audtorium at Notre Dame College. The roles of Esther Smith, John Truitt and Kate have been cast. Specifically seeking: Mrs. Anna Smith - good and loving mother "I Heard A Bell," "Wasn't It Fun" Mr. Alonso Smith - father and lawyer "Wasn't It Fun," "A Day In New York" Tootie Smith - bright six-year-old daughter "Under The Bamboo Tree." Casting will be announced by November 6 and materials will be available November 7. - - - Meet Me In St. Louis takes place in the year leading up to the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and hinges on the possibility that banker Alonzo Smith, might uproot his family to New York, scuttling his daughter Esther's romance with boy-next-door John Truett and causing similar emotional trauma for the rest of the household. The story was made famous in the 1944 MGM musical of the same name starring Judy Garland. Adapted for the stage in 1990, Meet Me In St. Louis includes "Skip To My Lou" "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "The Boy Next Door," and "The Trolley Song."
