Greetings For the overnight performance in Northeastern Ohio on the dates of Saturday May 21st & Oct. 29th I'm in search of one attractive somewhat vampy Caucasian actress 20s to 40s, with good improvisational skills that plays well with others, excels in scripted scenes, and of course...NO DIVA's PLEASE! You MUST be available for two rehearsals, on SUNDAY MAY 1st and SUNDAY MAY 15th. Both rehearsals begin @ 4:00 PM till around 7 to 7:30 PM in downtown Cleveland. This is a paid role for 2 overnight murder mystery performances on Saturday May 21st and Saturday October 29th. plus many more future roles. In addition to your pay, room and meals will also be provided. The character is a famous novelist famous for penning a mystery surrounding pirates of the Outer Banks and also for finding the treasure of Blackbeard I assure you, it's fun and it beats the hell out of working for free like most in Cleveland are forced to do. Deadline approaching on April 15th, 2016 1. Dance crews must be between 1-10 people 2. You may use mash-ups in your routine, but it may not surpass 5 songs. 3. Each submission must be between 2-5 minutes in length 4. At least one member or representative must be 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States. 5. If selected as a finalist, you must be available on May 21st for live final round (6PM). You will be performing the routine in your video submission. A complete W9 form and agreement to appear will be required to claim any monetary prize. 6. Costume choices must be appropriate for a family friendly audience. 7. All songs must be found in at least one database of the following music licensing companies: ASCAP, BMI, SESAC. 8. A co-worker of mine is seeking a home for two kitties. If interested, see her message below. I can also send you photos. Gixxer is a black male kitty and Aprilia is an orange female tabby kitty looking for a forever home. Both are appropriately 3 years old. My son had to give them up a few months ago and I agreed to keep them for a short while to try to find a home where they could stay together. They have been together since they were kittens. They are loving and well behaved and have always been indoors. It took a few weeks for the kitties and our five year old dog to make friends but they play together now. April 4th, 2016 *FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE* 51XO partners with Ensemble Theatre to present “Art Music in the Dark” April 8-9 Cleveland Heights, Ohio FiveOne Experimental Orchestra (51XO) and Ensemble Theatre, both Cleveland-based arts organizations and recent recipients of SEED Grants from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, have launched a new Strategic Partnership during the 2015-16 season which will be celebrated by two performances of modern classical music and live improvised video art hosted by Ensemble Theatre on April 8-9. Executive Directors Celeste Cosentino (Ensemble Theatre) and Jeremy Allen (51XO) met through the Rauschenberg Foundation in 2014 and immediately set to work on ways to join forces. Art Music in the Dark, the two-evening concert event which will benefit both 51XO and Ensemble Theatre, is the first publicly presented result of this partnership, and exemplifies a trend of local arts organizations teaming up to meet artistic and community building goals more effectively through collaboration. The multimedia concerts will feature recent classical musical works (all composed since 2010) accompanied by projected video art, largely manipulated in real time using iPad apps developed by Joshue Ott. The concerts feature acoustic and electroacoustic works by Sarah Kirkland Snider, Alexandra Gardner, Michael Bratt, Jeremy Allen and Nico Muhly, among others. Founded in 2008, FiveOne Experimental Orchestra is a Cleveland-based music collective of ten composers and performers with a no-boundaries approach to music. Hailed by the Plain Dealer as “burst[ing] with inventive, energetic spirit,” 51XO creates and performs a diverse stream of fresh, new-perspective musical works and brings an intriguing meld of genres, styles, and artistic disciplines to unusual spaces.
