Jolly Roger, The King O' The Pirates and The Legend of Anne Bonny will be performed by the Canal Fulton Players on the St. Helena III Canal Boat, Canal Fulton Canal Way Center, 125 Tuscarawas Street West, Canal Fulton, Ohio, on June 17-18, 24-25 at 6:00 pm. The dinner theatre cruise includes a dinner prepared by Canal Grille, a boat ride on the St. Helena III and the performance of the two plays which begins at 6:00 pm every night. Cost of the cruise, dinner and performance is $37.00 and is for all ages. Tickets can be purchased at the Canal Way Center or by calling 330-854-6835.

Cleveland Shakespeare Festival opens its 20th Anniversary Season of FREE Outdoor Theater with THE TAMING OF THE SHREW The original text of *The Taming of the Shrew* opens with a rarely-performed introduction that sets up the play as a joke made at the expense of a drunken tavern patron. In our version, directed by Lisa Ortenzi, the Cleveland chapter of the fictional “Women of Good Will” are staging their annual charity fundraiser, and this year’s production is *The Taming of the Shrew*. The pre-show raffle and bake sale transitions into Shakespeare’s text as the ladies (and a few of their husbands) take their roles and begin. In this zany comedy, many suitors seek the hand of the beautiful Bianca, but they must first find a match for her older sister, the brash and cunning Katherina. Enter Petruchio, who must find a way into her heart, whether she likes it or not. *The Taming of the Shrew *opens on Friday, June 16 at the P.E.A.C.E.
