CALL FOR DANCE ARTISTS AND DANCE COMPANIES! It's back and here to stay! The Movement Project is proud to announce the return of Cleveland Dance Fest, a two-day dance festival November 10th & 11th at the beautiful Pilgrim Church in Tremont! In partnership with Playhouse Square, Playhouse Square Partners, Viva Dance and Get Hep Swing we bring you free dance lessons, music and dancing every Tuesday this summer at the US Bank Plaza in Playhouse Square. 6-6:30 dance lessons. June 27th we teach Lindy, the original form of swing dancing that grew from the ballrooms of Harlem. 6:30-9 Live music provided by Red Light Roxy. Look for us near the giant chandelier. ------------------------------------AUDITIONS TONIGHT (6/27) and TOMORROW (6/28) @ CLAGUEClague Playhouse is holding auditions for "THE WOMAN IN BLACK"Written by Stephen Mallatratt and Susan Hill; Directed by Ron NewellAUDITIONS: Tuesday, June 27 and Wednesday, June 28 (7:30pm both nights)Performance Dates: September 15 – October 8, 2017 Clague Playhouse will be holding auditions for "The Woman In Black" directed by Ron Newell, Tuesday, June 27th and Wednesday, June 28th starting at 7:30PM both nights, at the theatre. The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. There will be no callbacks. Casting notices will be posted on the website on or before Thursday, July 6th. Rehearsals start Monday, August 7th. Performances run from September 15th through October 8th, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00PM and Sundays at 2:00PM. The action is comprised of a mosaic of interrelated scenes—some funny, some touching, some rueful—which, taken together, create an in-depth portrait of a vanishing species: the upper-middle-class WASP. The actors change roles, personalities and ages with virtuoso skill as they portray a wide variety of characters, from little boys to stern grandfathers, and from giggling teenage girls to Irish housemaids. WEEKEND HAPPENINGS AT THE WEST THEATER IN BARBERTON This weekend at The West Theater in Barberton, Ohio, the popular Cheesy Sci-Fi Double Feature and Canned Film Festival return. Friday, June 30th at 7:00 & 10:00 and Saturday, July 1st at 2:00 - 7:00 & 10:00 Return of the Cheesy Sci-Fi Double Feature with WAR OF THE ROBOTS and KILLERS FROM SPACE. Admission is $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Children & Senior Citizens. Then on Sunday, July 2nd, the Canned Film Festival returns with the pirate movie LONG JOHN SILVER. Showtimes are 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 and admission is only $1.00 or a non-perishable food item. All admission proceeds go to benefit the Barberton Salvation Army. We don't leave until we have the perfect shot. Ill edit depending on what we get and you get them to print yourself!
