(Christine Howey, _Scene_) When a brutish rhinoceros storms through their quiet neighborhood, the townsfolk are alarmed, but gradually become supporters of rhino-ism and one by one begin to turn into rhinoceroses themselves. Will the few hold-outs be able to resist the rhino’s despicable impulses, or become part of the mindless herd? A classic absurdist comedy that is a parable that remains universal and particularly timely today. RHINOCEROS is directed by Jonathan Wilhelm and features actors Tom Kondilas, Mike Frye, Kayla Gray, Joe Milan, David Munnell, Jeanne Task, Rocky Encalada, Natalyn Baisden and Kim Woodworth. Lumos Witches and Wizards: We cordially invite you to participate in helping us create the magic of Fieldcrest Estate's Wizards' Gathering in North Canton, on September 15th and 16th. Actors are invited to our auditions/orientation on September 5th, at Fieldcrest Estate (1346 Easthill Street Southeast (55th Street), North Canton, OH 44720). Auditions will begin at 5pm and run until 7pm, immediately followed by callbacks/orientation until 10pm. Headshots and resumes are appreciated, but not required. Our roles range from students/prefects (ages 17-24 or similar appearance preferred) to a variety of professors. Most roles are volunteer, with a meal provided per event, but some will provide additional compensation. Announcing Auditions for All Youth Production of Godspell

Rubber City Theatre <http://www.rubbercitytheatre.com> 190 South Maple Street Akron, Oh 44302 Now announcing auditions for Rubber City Theatre’s Youth Production of Godspell. We are auditioning young actors between the ages 10-18 for our upcoming production. Please prepare 32 bars of music in a similar musical style. An accompanist will be provided. Actors should be memorized and need to provide sheet music in the correct key. Actors will be taught a short dance combination. Please plan on staying for 30 minutes. Auditions will take place September 23rd from 12:00 PM - 2:30 pm. Rehearsals will begin September 25th and will run Sundays from 6-9, and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 7-9. Auditions, rehearsals and shows will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel at 190 S Maple St. Akron, OH 44302.
