“NIGHTS IN THEHEIGHTS” FREE OUTDOOR ROCK CONCERT AND CRUISE-IN The City of Broadview Heights is pleased to host the thirdof its four outdoor rock concerts. It will be held Friday, August 3rd,rain or shine, from 7PM to 10PM. The concert will feature the band “TheTeabags”. Information can be found on their website: http://www.theteabagsband.com/ There will be a “Cruise-In” hosted by Next Level AutoDetailing with specially designated parking area for the vehicles. Moniesraised from Cruise-In activities will be donated to a pre-designated localcharity. The concert event will take place on the Broadview Centergrounds (9543 Broadview Road) in the pavilion near the football field. Therewill be plenty of free parking as well as shelter in the event of rain. Foodand adult beverages will be available for purchase. Sponsors include Dunkin’ Donuts, Fuerst Automotive,Faulhaber Funeral Home, and the Broadview Heights Community Foundation. CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM PRESENTS A WORKSHOP PRODUCTION OF A NEW WORK AND ALL THE DEAD LIE DOWN BY HARRISON DAVID RIVERS FINAL WEEKEND: THIS THU-SAT AT 8 PM _ _ _And All the Dead Lie Down. _The story of a sero-discordant, interracial gay couple (Foss is HIV+, Alvin is not) dealing with their mixed status relationship, stigmatization, the importance of connection to family (or lack thereof) and their very different backgrounds is brought to a head by an unexpected visit by Foss’ shady, miscreant brother_._ Following the Thursday performances (July 19 and 26), con-con is hosting post-show panel conversations in partnership with representatives from The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland, Care Alliance, Recovery Resources, and a POZ identifying community member. Radio Theatre company comes to Northeast Ohio; seeking actors, playwrights for new projects

Arts Radio Network Theatre Project, a company dedicated to performing and celebrating classic and contemporary radio drama, has recently relocated to Northeastern Ohio. The company was established in 2002 in South Florida, and performed scripts from the golden age of radio throughout the region. In addition, ARNTP created both an educational outreach program, and a new playwriting initiative with several public radio stations. We would now like to introduce ourselves to the NE Ohio theater community, discuss potential projects, and have fun with our really cool sound effect devices! We will hold our first meeting on Monday, August 13, at 7 pm. Space is limited, and light refreshments will be served.
