Update on Radio on The Lake Theatre’s performance of The Birds

Due to an uncertain weather forecast, and out of an abundance of caution for the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases, Radio on the Lake Theatre’s presentation of the radio play version of The Birds has been moved online. The performance will now take place via Zoom on Friday, October 30 at 7 pm. Adapted from the Daphne DuMaurier short story, that served as the source material for the iconic Hitchcock film, this performance will feature one of the radio play genre’s richest sound designs, brought to life to ROTLT’s Artistic Director John Watts. The cast consists of Brian Pedaci, Casey Venema, Stuart Hoffman and Sara Dina. About the Director As a new director I am a driven hardworking film student looking to gain as much experience as I can before graduating and build those strong relationships with the arts community. HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS: $15 each. Mentor based jazzy-pop band is looking for an appealing, theatrically oriented female to front the band. Age range should be between 18 and 35. The musical style is similar to late-80s british pop/rock (Swing Out Sister, Sade, Everything But The Girl). Practices are (Thursdays 6pm to 8pm) and (Saturdays 1pm to 4pm.) This is a long-term project with both recording and gigging planned, so please keep that in mind; this more than simply practicing to play out on the weekends. Seeking a Set Medic/Covid Compliance Officer for CROOKERY, a ten minute short directed by Jonathan Perry. The shoot will take place over a two-day shoot (December 1st & 2nd). The location is in Port Clinton, Ohio and already secured. Our COVID Officer will brief the crew in bi-weekly zoom calls and be on set with full measures in place.
