Get Hep Swing is pleased to announce that they are moving their 5-week, progressive group classes to the beautifully spacious and recently renovated Broadview Heights Rec Center at 9543 Broadview Road. The Center is open from 5 am until 10 pm so there is always someone available to help answer your questions. The Center has a large parking lot with plenty of spaces right by the entrance reserved for those with handicap placards. The dance rooms are in the bottom floor of the facility and easily accessed by the stairs or the elevator just past the reception desk. Is learning how to dance on your bucket list? Would you like to dust off your dance skills? Join us for a group swing dance class or two with the friendly and illustrious dance champions of Get Hep Swing. You do not need a dance partner to sign up for any of these classes, but it can be helpful. We rotate partners during the class and instructors dance with students in order to give them personalized feedback. Wear attire that is comfortable. Wear flat shoes that allow you to pivot and spin easily. Lindy and Balboa take place in Group Exercise Room A, while Jitterbug takes place in Group Exercise Room B. *Patrons must sign up for classes in advance as space is limited. Review of "Clue" at Playhouse Square

Cleveland Play House clears a low bar with ‘Clue’ Bob Abelman Cleveland Jewish News, The News Herald, The Morning Journal In the world of live entertainment, there is no shortage of popular amusements inspired by such low-hanging fruit as motorsports (“Monster Jam”), pro-wrestling (“WWE Live Raw”) and children’s collectables (Mattel’s “American Girl Live” tour). There are even musicals based on Hasbro and Parker Brothers board games, though “Monopoly” never got to pass go on its way to Broadway a few years back and “Clue,” which made its Off-Broadway debut in 1997, received nothing but dismal reviews and a run of 29 performances. A new non-musical adaptation of the whodunit board game has been written by Sandy Rustin (whose credits include the above-mentioned Mattel extravaganza), though her rendition of “Clue” is so deeply grounded in the farce-filled 1985 film of the same name that its screenwriter Jonathan Lynn gets top billing. The play is currently premiering on the Cleveland Play House main stage and, if all goes well, it is scheduled to go on national tour in 2021. All does go well, such as it is. Claude, his best friend Berger, their roommate Sheila, and their Tribe of friends struggle to balance the demands of the harsh and violent world with their dream for a more beautiful and peaceful world. When Claude receives his draft notice, he must decide whether to join his friends in resisting the draft or bow to the pressures of society and his conservative parents, thereby sacrificing his ideals and, possibly, his life. *Hair* was a sensation when it premiered in 1967, as it brought the counterculture movement into the theatre and the national spotlight. Olive & her group of girlfriends are enjoying their weekly Trivial Pursuit night in Olive’s messy & ill-equipped apartment. As the game continues, Florence arrives, fresh from being dumped by her husband. Fearful that the neurotic Florence might attempt suicide, Olive invites her to move in as her roommate. However, Olive & Florence have VERY different personalities. Where Olive is messy, untidy & unconcerned about the state of her apartment, Florence is obsessively clean, tidy & obsessed with hygiene. Olive’s easy-going outlook on life soon clashes with Florence’s highly-strung neurotic tendencies, testing their friendship to the limit.
