WHEN: Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 7PM WHAT: Too Many Chefs Spoil the Soup! WHERE: delivered via a Zoom Meeting HOW DO I GET TICKETS: Follow this link - https://bit.ly/3aMsN58 - (or copy and paste it into your browser) to the Eventbrite page for this event. HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS: $15 each. Spaces are limited to 90 tickets, but each ticket is a GROUP ticket, so you can purchase one ticket and invite as many people as you are comfortable inviting into your home to view the event. However, each ticket will only get one (1) guess for solving the Whodunit? After purchasing your ticket, you will be provided a Zoom meeting link code and a password to enter the event. Guessing forms will be sent out in advance and collected at the end of the mystery via a Google Form and tabulated the night of the event for a prize valued at $25. “Attention all Fairytale Things!” Mighty Goliath Productions is happy to announce our auditions for our 2021 production of Shrek the Musical! MGP is an open and affirming community experience. We are an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit fundraising organization that benefits the performing arts of Avon Lake City Schools. Auditions are not required for anyone wishing to participate as part of the ensemble; however, in light of COVID-19, we are requiring pre-registration for participation in the ensemble and for all people auditioning. If you would like to be a part of the show, please register at https://forms.gle/ySZoQPudh6nA7pch9 by October 22, 2020. If you’re interested in being a featured dancer in the ensemble, please send an email to auditions(a)mightygoliath.com in addition to registering by September 15, 2020. ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE WHAT TO PREPARE: For safety reasons, we are asking that auditions be recorded and submitted to the email listed below. Auditions should consist of 16-32 bars of a musical theatre piece and a short story told as a fairytale. Please sing along to an accompaniment or track. No a Capella please. Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its live-streamed Sunday afternoon concert series with Canton-based guitarist Steve Farley on September 13, 2020, at 2 pm. Farley will discuss music of the 1960s- from the age of sock hops and innocence to protests and the Vietnam war. The program will feature music from Bobby Vee to Crosby, Still and Nash and many artists in between. Farley performs on a regular basis locally.
